Easy Air Fryer Pandesal recipe
Makes 24 pcs (small)
Ingredients
Dry
3 cups flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp active dry yeast
Wet
1 cup warm milk
1 beaten egg
3 tbsp cooking oil
Bake in 150°C air fryer (oven) for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown

@@marialigaya if gusto nyo po mas crunchy Pwede baliktarin para ma toast din ang ilalim ng pandesal. Add lng ng 5-10 minutes baking time

You need to check the following expired yeast, proving time (at least 45 minutes for the dough to rise for the second time). Bread becomes hard when the yeast is not working or you put too much flour. When I added a little flour it's only to make the dough not too sticky.

I discovered from a beginner ( teenager) she did not fully understand the necessity of kneading . Hand kneading requires 15 minutes , by mixer is 10 minutes . Her siopao was as hard as rocks , puedeng pambato. The yeast factor was not the culprit as it tested active and alive , nor was the ratio of liquid and flour as she followed the video tutorial. Her parents helped her put together the ingredients . No "window pane " test was done to ascertain if the kneading was sufficient enough to proceed to the next step : proofing.
