Thanks for teaching it the right way; a lot of folks miss the very last part where you need to torque down the caliper bolts WITH the brakes squeezed in, so the calipers are aligned properly with the rotor.

Surely with the “pegs” on the fork that the calliper sits on there would be no need to centre the calliper

It seems like you really knows about the brakes of this bike, so please, let me ask you something. I recently ride the Ducati StreetFighter V4s with Brembo Stylema M.50 and I found it so much better than my Ducati Monster 2022 Brembo’s 4.3.2. Can you compare the stock M1000r brake system with the Stylema Brembo system?

Dear Bill, thank you for the tutorial videos as always. My 2021 S1000RR has a tiny leak at the bleeder screw in the rear brake caliper so I was wondering if you have ever had this happened before and how you fixed it. It is not under or over tighten as I have checked the torque. Thank you!

I test rode the M1000R last week. Found the brakes were mega. Did you have brake fade? I found the brakes on this better than my Streetfighter V4SP 😳

No brake fade just a upgrade for a track session with al little more bite so to speak.

Good video Bill! I have a question about the exhaust. It appears that there is a removable DB Killer in the end of the muffler, are you going to try to remove it and check the sound before you do any exhaust mods? Thanks!

There is not a DB killer in. there is actually a DB killer that you can install but there is not one in there now

@@CaliMotoTV It sure is quiet, but looks good. I just got my RR w/ M package. I think I may have the same exhaust? Is the catalytic conv making it so quiet? Just got it yesterday so have not had time to look real closely. And that is a beautiful bike.

@Patrick C yeah the cat is what is keeping it quiet, you're definitely going to have to upgrade the exhaust.

I might have the balls to change an oil by myself, but i'd never touch a brake lol i don't trust myself on my safety, and somehow i trust some other mf, weird
