Easy Corn pie recipe that you must try!
I must add, that I used fine cornmeal in this recipe and would recommend that you use only find cornmeal. The coarse one can make this a weird texture. I won’t recommend any other cornmeal than the fine kind
Ingredients:
2 tbsp butter
1 medium onion (minced)
5 pimento peppers ( minced)
12 fl oz evaporated milk
2 tsp adobo all purpose seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
2 cups fine cornmeal
14.75 oz creamed corn
15 oz sweet corn
Cheeses of your choice ( I used 1/2 cup Gouda,1/2 cup cheddar & 1/4 cup pre shredded triple cheddar blend )
Salt to taste
Bake @350 for 30-45 mins
