This is an adorable pattern! Many thanks to the designer for such a carefully detailed tutorial describing/showing each step. I made these in size 6-9 mos. (2.0"W x 4.25"L sole) with classic 4 ply soft acrylic yarn (Hobby Lobby) using 4.5 mm hook. I tend to crochet rather tightly so you may want to adjust your hook size up or down .5 mm if you crochet loosely. I always find sizing to be the hardest part, especially when making something for someone outside of your household and can't measure as you go. Hope this helps someone!

I am delighted with the result of my little booties by following along to your video. I am so thankful that you take the time to go over each and every stitch. Thanks for the video! It can be hard to read the patterns when you're a beginner and it really helped to see your work. It also really helped how you repeated what you were doing. I ended up making a couple slippers because 0-3 months wasn't big enough for my one month old. I found that 6.5 mm worked for her foot which is 3.5 inches.

The second slipper went faster, and I want to thank you for telling your chrocheters what they are doing (enlarging the heel) and the purpose of particular stitches. There are so many things that can be made from crochet that when you try something different, no matter how many stitches you know, you can always use a little help. Written instructions often have mistakes or take things for granted. My little grandson is going to look so dapper in these booties. BTW I used multicolor, Spring pastels yarn, which made it extra difficult to see the stitches. Thanks for your excellent video.
