Tahnk you very much! 💕 One thing I noticed was if you sew the seam to the pocket as mentioned (I think it was called a top stitch here), it makes sewing the pocket pieces together and closing the gaps on the top and bottom easier. 😊 So glad I found this tutorial. It'll make adding pockets so much easier.😂

I just did this the other day to one of my dresses and used the Tres Belle pocket. I made a template from a Dollar Tree cutting board mat so I can add pockets to all my dresses!

Any tips on adding pockets to the reversible dress pattern? I was considering cutting the side panels in half on each side then doing some kind of reversible multi layer pocket but I’m having trouble visualizing how to do it.

I did it, buy it's a little wonky. My dress is knit and I used cotton fabric for the pocket🤦🏾‍♀️.....could that be why. I have the process correct thanks to you, just not sure about my fabric choice

Is anyone else miffed that we need to “add” pockets and go through all this trouble because manufacturers know we will still buy their clothes because we women don’t have much of a choice. Men’s clothing almost always have pockets even in swim trunks. Everyone loves pockets- not just men and boys but also women and girls. 🥰
