I use small springs for this, works perfectly.

The best way is to sink the right size allen screw into the hole so the stud can be tightened against it.

With string tension ther no chanse to buzz

Yeah, this seems to fe a fix for something that isn't actually a problem. Heck, archtop gutars have floating bridges that are not mechanically attached to the guitar by anything other than the down force from the strings.

@@eilliwwasniahc yeah, plus every piece of rubber you shove into a guitar will absorb musical vibration.

I've wrapped the threads in a strip of foil. Seemed to work.

This seems to be a similar fix for loose screw-in Strat trem arms where those little springs are used to provide upward pressure. That didn't work long-term for myself as the springs kept getting mangled, and the arm eventually broke off at the tip. I prefer the push-in trem arms with a small bolt to tighten the arm. Wondering if there's a similar solution for posts that uses a better design.

Just use a piece of the correct diameter vacuum hose in each hole

You can just stick a piece of cut rubber band in there

Why worry about the loose posts? Under string tension they will not be moving.

You could easily just cut a guitar pick and use it to create pressure. That's what I've done the last years and it keeps the screws really tight, and they don't lose contact as they basically just get a small chip/slice of guitar pick

So basically it's like the springs under the vibrato bar on a strat. Could you use a small spring? Maybe just 3 coils?

I wonder if this is a common issue with these guitars. I did a video with one of these and had a similar issue. Mine was a factory second, so it had a few issues. They're still pretty cool guitars though
