Used to be able to solo Von6 with a good ranged attacker, until they modified some barriers to block lines of sight. Von5 was still a problem however. I used to be able take down one pillar with ranged back in those days when level cap was 10 or 12 and something like Greater Construct Bane weapons and using Adamantine ammo was very important.

Good info Voodu! I had forgotten (as I rarely play epic) that the system had changed and that epic loot was easier to make. I had traded in seals and scrolls from my 30, but I don't remember what I got for them. 😲 Vault Keys. Of course. Stuff I'll never be able to use. Apparently I am a noob idiot after all in spite of fifteen years playing this game. 😛 I never really understood why SoS was such a favored weapon, though I'm absolutely more of a casual player (especially over the last couple of years as not having internet every other week as I travel for what I do means there's less chances to play and I just forget about it even when I have internet). As a cas I can't do raids, and as previously stated over the past years being rejected for Greensteel raids by dismissives who said "If you've never been before you can't come with us to learn" soured me on PUG raids too. You have kindly offered to teach me, but I've got all my play characters on Orien and until I can settle down I'm an ultra casual player, so it'll have to wait. 🙂 Speaking of raids and such, I wish I could do more of them, but my so-called skills are limited to the point that I can only solo level 6 Chronoscope with my level 30 a little over half the time (shattering my wrists four years ago really limits what my hands can do, but I'm hopeful that a new PT routine may help me recover some function because the doctors tell me it can't be fixed surgically). I'd love to try some things like Sands or VoN someday, but for now all I usually do is log on for a bit, run a couple of missions for a bit of xp for my one TR character who is slowly trying to work through levels to the next life (takes FOREVER as a limited cas!). Thankfully I can still play vicariously by occasionally (when I have internet) watching you effortlessly carve your way through any opposition. 😀 Have lots of fun for me too!

Hey Patrick, I've been thinking a lot about your message here. I play with some folks who have severe disabilities. If you are passionate about playing ddo and looking for a way that will work for you, a high defense auralock might be an option that could work for someone with limited mobility. I always tell people when it comes to my Voodu Warlock build, if you can press 2 buttons then you're half way to mastering the build (forums.ddo.com/index.php?threads/voodu-warlock-enlightened-spirit-tank-hardcore-new-players-past-lives-mid-reaper-solo-video-series.480/). @@vooduspyce Very cool and thank you! I spend so much time on the road these days without internet access that I'm just not able to get on and play much so I've gotten out of the habit altogether. :-o But next time I'm back in town with Internet access I'll try to drop in to the stream. :-) And my TR character is currently working on her paladin life. That at least makes the hack and slash easy. :-D But I need a better routine than my usual, which has been slow going. As always, I appreciate your advice and insights! Take care and kill some baddies for me too! :-D
