Ingredients for the recipe:
For the dough:
3.5 cups (500 g) of flour
2 teaspoons of dry yeast
1/3 cup + 2 tablespoons (80 g) white sugar
2 L-size eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
A cup (240 ml) of warm milk
100 g of melted butter
For the filling:
100 g of soft butter
150 g of light brown sugar
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
For brushing:
A beaten egg with a little water
For coating:
200 grams of sugar
100 ml of water
Preparation:
In a bowl with a spoon mix flour, salt, dry yeast, and sugar
Add eggs, melted butter, and the water and beat well.
until you get a dough that separates from the bowl.
The dough should remain lumpy and not smooth, nothing to worry about.
Cover with plastic wrap and a towel and leave to rise for about an hour and a half to two hours in a warm place
until the dough straightens and rises a little. (Keep in mind that this is not a dough that rises a lot)
Transfer the dough to a floured surface, as the dough is sticky.
Flour your hands to work with it. Take out air and arrange it into a ball.
To roll it, make sure to flour your work surface enough, I remind you that this dough is a bit sticky compared to the doughs you know.
Using a rolling pin, roll the dough into a large rectangle.
Using a rolling pin or a knife, spread the soft butter on the surface of the dough.
Mix the brown sugar with the cinnamon powder and sprinkle evenly over the dough over the butter.
Roll the dough into a roulade, and slice it into roses. I received 12 roses.
Transfer the roses to a greased pan, cover them again with plastic wrap or a towel, and leave them to rise again
About 45-60 minutes preferably in a warm area if it is cold.
Heat the oven to 356 F (180 degrees), and when the sinbons have risen, brush them with a beaten egg.
Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the sinbons are brown in appearance.
For coating:
Bring water and sugar to a boil and cook for about 6 minutes until the mixture is thick.
(Cool before use)
Brush the thick mixture on the hot Cinnabons.
ENJOY!
