Thats where its at...a few simple meals on rotation. I eat sushi bowls on the regular!! This has helped me stay on track!

Do not buy junk food and do not bring it into the house or it will call your name. Just say to yourself and others, "I don't eat this"

If you fill your tummy with A LOT of low-calorie density whole plant food like fruit, veggies, mushrooms, starchy veggies (e.g. winter squashes), potatoes, sweet potatoes and a smaller amounts of tofu, wholegrains and legumes (beans, lentils), seeds and nuts which are higher in calories/fat you will not just be full but your body and brain will be satisfied because you get all the right nutrients (which are not in junk food). Be patient but over time the cravings will go IF you don't keep switching from a healthy diet to cheat days/treats, etc. - if you do, you will keep teasing your taste buds and eventually give in. Do not buy or bring into the house the sweet treats! When you are full and satisfied, you don't think about food and sweets obsessively, but get on with your life.

I notice you don’t incorporate mushrooms into your diet. I eat a buttload of them (US), and I’m just curious if that would be something you’d eat? Are they available in stores near you?

Hi Chelsea! Thank you so much for these videos! I'm binge-watching them! I'd be interested to know how you plan and create low-fat meals for yourself AND make balanced meals for your children. Do you make two different meals? My daughter (8 yrs) is quite lean, healthy, energetic, and does lots of sports. Now that I am starting to make low-fat meals (less oil, more leafy greens) for myself because I want to lose 5 -6 kgs, I end up cooking two meals. For example, I cook for her a hearty curry with coconut milk and lots of veggies and a low-fat meal for myself. I'm hoping to learn to create meals for both of us where I can swap one or two ingredients but don't have to cook two completely different meals. I want to lose weight AND at the same time, I don't want my daughter to lose weight - she's on the lower range for her age. Is that goal even possible? I'd be happy to join such a "family programme" with you if you created one ;). Cheers!

I would set aside some of the food that is more plain for yourself and then add extra fat, etc for the kiddos.

I like your androgynous style, also in clothes, there's no need to gain too much muscle! You may gain something else too like a little double chin, and also lose definition in your face, you look a little bloated, hope you are OK
