What are your thoughts on making this in the crockpot? I also don't like to leave my stove on for a whole day so I cook mine in the crockpot.

So you cooked for a total of 2hrs 40min? Do you let it run through as in pressure comes down naturally or venting and then start again? Is just running it for double the time not the same?

Do you release the pressure and then put the lid back on to run it the second time? How long to cook it if using a crockpot?
@BeccaBristow
@BeccaBristow Жыл бұрын
I just reset it, I don't release the pressure! It will manually start releasing the pressure so sometimes if I don't get to it right away it will. Doesn't really matter wither way!

Why do you need to roast raw bones? I never do that. Thank you awesome video

I know it helps deepen the flavor, but otherwise I'm not sure! I don't usually use raw bones I just know people usually instruct to roast first :)

Just was wondering if the broth would turn out if it was cooked on high pressure for 2 hrs and 40 min instead of doing 2 cycles of 1 hr and 20 minutes?
@BeccaBristow

I feel like that would be fine? If the pressure cooker goes that long?

If you fill them pretty full, try filling them less. Also try putting it in the freezer after it’s cooled to refrigerator temp. Might also help to just place the lids on top, then tighten them once it’s frozen

Yes cool in the fridge overnight first and make sure to leave a big gap at least 2” from rim for expansion. Transfer to the freezer and I always thaw mine in the fridge, too.😊
