I tried this recipe , it was so damn good , also I used butter instead of oil , I used room temp butter but still it was in huge chunks and lumps , but when I added dry ingredients. It binded well :)

Thanks so much for posting this lovely little cake for two. We are just two people and dont want to always make a full sized cake, so this was perfect !! It came out just like yours and I filled it with ganache infused with Cointreau and whipped cream with a little icing sugar and Cointreau mixed in and I did add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cake, beautiful !!! It would be great if you could adapt a few other recipes for two, like normal sponge cake or muffins/friands/even bread dough.....

I made this tonight but I tripled the recipe to make 3 little cakes. I haven't seen those mini springform pans at the Walmart in Honolulu. I had to order them online. Mini cakes came out really moist. I have a gas oven so I only had to bake them at 20 mins. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!
