Here are my thoughts on the BASEBAR by the company BASEBLOCKS.
It's a decently made product that is especially useful for those that cannot install doorway pullup bars or gymnastic rings.
HOWEVER, there are some manufacturing and business problems I address in the video that potential buyers may want to consider.
I added a quick, 20-second summary at the beginning of the video for those that want a cliffnotes version.
What do you think? Have you used this product? Have you seen its advertising? Share your thoughts with me below! I'd love to hear them.

Hello friends! I usually spend the first 15 minutes after a video uploading answering comment questions, but I'm trying to build a computer right now and would like to get it done today. If you want to watch me livestream it and yell at me for my stupid mistakes, I'll be live in a few minutes at: www.hybridcalisthenics.com/twitch I've never done this before. Wish me luck! With the new computer, I'll be able to edit and produce content a lot quicker, hopefully.

Reminds me of my English lessons - Shakespeare used to start his plays by giving the audience the basic plot and the ending (or just the ending). This is a complete ‘spoiler’, but it obviously was not a bad thing, shown by how well he’s known now. It had the same affect as this does - you want to find out how he got to that conclusion, the details etc. I think this still happens nowadays with films, indirectly. We all KNOW at the bottom of our hearts that the good guys will win, but we have no idea how and they do a good job of making it seem impossible, which makes the final win 10x better. Maybe I’m talking rubbish but there’s my thoughts

@DJF haha very funny... Go watch some acts17apologetics and get back to me. There's no way on Earth Jesus told us to worship an illiterate, demon possessed, caravan robbing, pedophile who walked around covered in semen. Not to mention he's a verified false prophet based on his own words. I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you, but your imams are lying to you. The Bible is about Jesus from Genesis to Revelation. Even if he was an "actual prophet": Deuteronomy 13:1-5 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder, and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them, you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams. For the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of slavery, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

@DJF Please, there is no need to contradict him. We should be respectful of each others’ beliefs. You would not like it if somebody told you to stop being Muslim and praise Jesus when all you wanted to do was express yourself and your joy the way you know how. As for Jordan Daniel, you were incredibly rude and hateful to such a simple (admittedly unnecessary) comment. Regardless of the person you’re replying to’s bluntness or annoyingness, is it really a truly Christian thing to be as rude and disrespectful as you were? And despite the fact that your comment shouldn’t have been made, even if it were an argument that should be held in this place, there were no sources for any of your claims, just insults and one side of the story. To me that seems like personal hatred under the guise of religious righteousness. Hampton’s content isn’t for contempt and hatred to breed on. It’s to help people and bring some joy to the world. Please don’t bring your personal hatred about unrelated topics to these things. And I doubt the OP of this comment would even want such an argument to be going on in his comment, it’s literally just to thank a creator he greatly appreciates. For both parties involved, please understand that we should try to life each other up to a higher level, not tear each other down and attempt to belittle each other. I feel like that’s one of the key essences that underlies all of Hampton’s videos. Please be respectful, kind, and attempt to get along. Sorry for such a long post but I would like to nip this argument in the bud before it goes on any more than it already has. Thanks for taking the time to read my comment.

I would be interested if you made a DIY row bar or pull up bar. Great review, love the insight of you trying to find the right pullup bar to sell. I feel like if you have the space then a power tower would be much better, you can get one for similar price or cheaper than this basebar and can do much more with it

Horizontal pullups (well, really, inverted rows) helped me get to being able to do regular pullups. And they're a nice moving inverted-plank.

Hold on, I just want to thank you for not doing what every other youtuber does and telling us right away in the beginning of the video what your opinion is. That’s cool, you literally blew my mind. I thought you were gonna give your opinion later on and that’s annoying to wait for it. It makes me not like the video when they do that rather than attract my attention. Thank you Edit: the fact that you actually include a disclaimer of your relationship with the company and if they pay you for the review/video or not. We need more of these kind of modest youtubers

What?! $149 for some round tube and square tube welded together? Crazy. It would be easy enough to make something real close with iron plumbing pipe and fittings from the local hardware store. Thanks for the review! Keep up the great work… you are one of the best content creators out there!

Absolutely want a diy pull-up bar that doesn’t require a door frame. I do a lot of traveling, and not being able to use door frames for fear of damage keeps me from being able to run with your whole routine. Having something that I could collapse down for travel and fairly quickly put together for use would be awesome. I’ve wondered if throwing together a PVC rig would be strong enough for long term usage.

Try Duonamic pull up product. I got them because I had to due to have weird door frames and standard pull up bars not fitting. However they're marketed as travel friend since the put up and set up super easy. Biggest plus is their design doesn't damaged frames
