Easy Polyrhythms In Ableton Live

If you have ever tried to make complex polyrhythms in Ableton Live, you may have noticed that it is not always easy to evenly space out your MIDI notes. So in this quick tip, we will be looking at how to create interesting combinations of polyrhythms for your songs.

nice! I was thinking about this just this morning... just a quick tip (i'm sure you know it already but just in case...) - if you want to select all notes with the same (MIDI) pitch in the midi editor, you can just click the corresponding note on the vertical piano :) as i say you probably know this one but if not, you're welcome :D

Plus you can click and drag on the piano for multiple notes

I didn’t realize you could move the warp marker from the beginning of the last note to the end. I always just added an extra note and moved it from there. Same diff

Quick tip, if you want the note to quantize faster, let's say you want to put 5 notes in, just create 6 notes instead and slide in 5 with the warp marker then you don't need the extra step!
