This is a very easy Egg Foo You g base recipe. You can add meat or other veggies to this recipe. Mahalo nui loa for watching and PLEASE SUBSCRIBE...
EGG FOO YOUNG
6 - eggs
1/2 - head cabbage
1/2- carrot shredded
1 - yellow onion
1/2 - tsp white pepper
1 - tsp sesame oil
Salt to taste
Canola oil to fry
Sauce
3 cups chicken broth
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp white vinegar
2Tbsp white sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch

sauteing the veggies would caramelize them, remove moisture and concentrate the flavor.

I prefer all raw, and bean sprouts are a must with egg foo young and not parboiled because it will turn out a bit crunchy…. But I like your sauce, thank you.

Omg! I watched another chef video and stopped because he went to microwave his patties that came out of the wok...but you said many same key words as him...like dejavu!! I love YOUR video cuz of course cuz i think you cook where I eat in (Hawaiian Islands) and you must know the egg foo young flavor on my tongue! I adore freshly cracked black pepper and never use the preground. Ever. I have never tasted white. Is it worth using etting white?

It definitely has a way different flavor from black pepper.

White pepper is the core of the peppercorn without the black outer shell. Tastes a bit different. Great to use as an alternative in some recipes.

Thanks for asking. The replies you got have convinced me to add white pepper to my pepper collection. (I use copious amounts of freshly ground black pepper of many varieties. Love the stuff!)
