In this video, I will be showing you 9 different ways to fix WiFi connection problems in Windows 10 where WiFi is connected but no Internet access, this is often indicated by a yellow triangle on the WiFi icon. This could be due to problems with the service provider, or with your Wi-Fi router and it could also be due to problems with the network configurations on your laptop.
1. Check if is a problem with the service provider
2. Check if is a problem with the router
3. Run the Windows network troubleshooting tool
4. Reset your network adapter
5. Reset Windows Sockets API using the following commands
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
6. Reinstalling your network adapter drivers
7. Update your network adapter drivers using the default drivers
8. Check power management settings
9. Check IP configurations

the thing is, the troubleshooter didn't detect any issues. My other devices were connected to the internet (same router) and were working, and my LAN cable was confirmed to be working by plugging it into my laptop. even if the tips didn't necessarily work, his soothing African accent definitely calmed me down :D

I'm having this same issue. I very recently switched Internet providers and now the laptop is going a little crazy. It keeps dropping the WiFi signal but is OK when connected via the cable. I had this new provider before a few years ago with no issues, and there was no issue with the old provider. Everything else in the house is connecting fine too. I hope the pc isn't dying.

I just want to say massive thanks! After moving into a new area, i couldn't connect to the WiFi. I had been functioning with mobile hotspot for weeks and even tech support for my computer brand did not figure out what to do. You were my last attempt and voilà! Very very pleased.

Oh my! You are MAGIC! I was at the public library using their wi-fi, and out of nowhere I was disconnected and could not even see or access any wi-fi internet source. I have never had this problem before. Resetting my network adapter definitely worked. Nga mihi kia koe (much love and thanks to you). I was scared!

Just wanted to say thank you for making this video. The options (I tried abt three) you provided didn't work for me but bcos of your video, I was able to solve my "internet connected but can't access it" issue based on one of your commentors comment. All I had to do was click on the airplane mode and then click back on the Wi-Fi mode. BOOM!!! Crazy weird but it worked. 😁

Hi I’ve tried everything but connecting my pc straight to the internet via Ethernet but instead I’ve tested by connecting my pc to my phone hotspot and I can browse perfectly fine. So it shouldn’t be a problem with my pc config right? Please help

Uninstalling the network driver and restarting the computer solved the problem. Thank you so much.

This video is very useful, faced similar issue and used one of these methods . I used the method where you uninstall the network driver and restart your machine. The network driver will automatically be reinstalled after your computer restarts. works perfectly

Thanks so much 🙏🏻. I was very very upset about this issue 😒. It would be a huge trouble if I can’t use Wi-fi on laptop because I wouldn’t be able to finish my very important work before the end of this year 😱. I use your 2nd methods ( Reseting network adapter ) and it’s work . 👍🏻 Your video still useful and a day saver even 3 years later . 👍🏻✌🏻👌🏻😎

IDK how I messed up my Wi-Fi settings, but resetting the Windows Sockets API on cmd worked out perfectly! Thanks 😊

Hello, I have tried all options and did not work. I did notice that when I go to Open Network & Internet Settings -> Change adapter options there is only one option Ethernet. I dont have any others. My wifi stopped working last year after install Arlo the wifi extender but have returned arlo and since then my wifi option not coming up. When I go to Device Manager for the Network Adapters I see the "Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560" with the yellow triangle. I tired all the steps to uninstall/restart and update but it defaults back and I get a Code 10 - Device can't restart. Last year even tried going to MS website to install updated adapters but nothing seems to work. You seem to have help so many, is there anything else I can do? Thanks in advance.

Cheers lad! I usually had to reset and reinstall all of windows for it to work again. FYI these fixes work just as well on regular desktops!

When i reseted the network adapters, it worked for a minute but then it automatically turned off, and the power management option was off. Can someone help?
