I've banged on enough times about the hassle of turning my bikes around in the limited space between the garden shed and my house, so I decided to take a punt on a small turntable that I've seen advertised here and there. Ideally, I want to have it in the shed but can I make enough space to turn around a 7ft long motorbike??

Through the magic of television, you don't get to see that it took more than one attempt to get the turntable in the final position where I was successful; it didn't take too long to sort it out.
Now you might ask why don't I just have the turntable outside in front on the shed? Well first, it's cool AF to have a turntable in my shed! I can now have the bike rotated at any angle which will make it easier to work on under cover. And anyway if the weather is good, it's a piece of cake just to take the turntable outside. However, one concern I do have is with the gradient of the ground outside the shed... when I ride into the back garden, I'm pointing slightly downhill and then I have to pull the bike up and back onto the 1cm high platform which looks like it would take quite a lot of effort. The turntable has no locking mechanism, at least not as standard.
I'm also a bit worried that since the bike is nose heavy and the turntable has no perceivable friction, the bike might get unbalanced or the spinning motion might accelerate away from me when the bike starts to point downhill when I'm turning it around the other way. Imagine bouncing the front or rear wheel on the ground and then the bike starts to roll of the centre stand.... It just doesn't feel like a good idea to use this turntable on a gradient.
I might have to end up putting the Bros on a motorcycle-dolly-tray-thing too as it's really tight in there now!
