We went to Orta San Giulio, on Lake Orta, to the restaurant of chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, judge of MasterChef Italia 9, currently engaged on TV in the selection of the competitors of the new edition.
It is not the first, but the second time that we have the pleasure of trying the cuisine of the starred chef at the Villa Crespi restaurant, two Michelin stars.
We choose the Carpe Diem tasting menu, even if there will be numerous additions by the chef, such as "Sicilian scampi with pizzaiola and octopus water", "bean tagliatelle, mussels and cod tripe" and "quail, Norway lobster and oyster veils ".
Unfortunately, at the end, exhausted by so many courses, we advanced the small pastry: we will have to go back and give ourselves a second chance.
