🇩🇲More Dominica Videos: • Trying DOMINICA STREET...
As my adventures in Dominica slowly wound to a close, I had two exotic local delicacies for my final dinner on the island: manicou and agouti! Manicou is made from opossum, while agouti is made from a rodent similar to guinea pigs. Join me on this surprising food adventure in Dominica!
BELL HALL BEACH SPOT: At this incredible beachside restaurant, the cooks prepared a phenomenal Dominican feast of manicou, agouti, conch chowder, coconut curry tuna, coconut curry vegetables, sea cockroach, salad, and grilled octopus. Everything was excellent and fresh. Overall, it was one of my favorite meals of the trip!
BAR DRINKS: There was no way I wasn’t going to enjoy a few drinks on my final night in Dominica, so I headed t he bar and tried a potent ginger shot, a strong medicinal shot, and some marijuana punch, which I chased with a nice ginger beer.

Hi David, A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon your videos of Dominica, and I can't get enough!! :) You covered a lot of ground and I have included a few spots for me to visit the next time I go back. (I'm a Dominican living abroad). I love your energy and I am thrilled that you featured street food in your series. In every video, the warmth and hospitality of my fellow Dominicans and the stunning scenery really warmed my heart. Yes, I have eaten smoked agouti, but as a teenager. I loved it then, but I'm not sure that I'd eat it now. What a feast from the folks at Bell Hall Beach Spot! The sea queen is new to me. I was salivating at the sight of all these beautiful dishes, so the restaurant is definitely on my list for next time.

GM David. Well, well, well, what have we got here? The ultimate exotic surf and turf: wild meat and seafood found in the Caribbean. What a feast!!! Definitely not for me except for the lobster and curried fish. First of all, you should have started and ended with the ginger shot which is very good for digestion and any stomach problems. One thing of note is that in the Caribbean/West Indies, we wash and clean everything before cooking it and I am not surprised that the kitchen was so clean as well. Did you see the moon and the stars after drinking that marijuana shot? LoL. With your adventurous and enthusiastic nature, I am not surprised that you were happy to dig into all this dishes. "Nobody does it better... nobody does it half as good as you, baby you're the best". "The Spy who Loved me". Carly Simon. So good. See you in the next one . BTW, I was looking for the thumbnail of you with the Belizean crab legs. Can you re-post it because I can't find it. Tks.😋🤗🙏🕊️💕🇹🇹🇨🇦
