I was diabetic last May and by last June no more diabetes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Diabetes is caused predominantly by meats and dairy fats. Bless Dr Greger and you guys.

This is absolutely so untrue. Diabetes is not caused by animal fat. It is common knowledge that it is carbs + fat consumed together. Diabetes is literally when your body can't process carbs. You can reverse by eliminating fat or carbs. But one is essential (fat) and one is not (carbs). Eliminating fat will leave you with a greater chance of deficiencies in so many things. We can live without carbs, but saturated animal fat have so many nutrients essential for proper human processes. Wow... people are very misinformed. I would be very nervous about irreversible damage by eliminating these essential nutrients.... especially brain shrinkage or, for children, not developing properly. I honestly don't know why anyone would take that chance especially when it comes to your child. This is proven and VERY scary.

So Happy I came across you! I’m a somewhat newer to fully plant based or anything at its natural state as possible eater. About 5-6 months now. I live a very alkalizing lifestyle and my inflammation has significantly decreased. Which I suffer with ALOT! Though the body changes throughout certain times during the weeks or months such as bloat, water retention, etc, not near as bad as it used to when I would eat meat (mainly chicken) with most lunch and dinners. Love my lifestyle now as it’s just made me so much better all around. We have a toddler now and plan on expanding in the future and I was always worried about if I when that time comes if it would be okay to stick with it and through research, discussing with professionals, I feel so much more confident. Love seeing your beautiful bright recipes! Beyond inspiring! Hope to still be fit after my next like you! 😂 I gained WELL beyond my 25lb max with my toddler (no numbers to say lol as it was astronomical) All The best!

Diabetes runs in my family, so maybe I can forgo it if Eat this diet and take better care of myself. Also, I like a lot of your recipes. I have a lot of food allergies so thats what let me to close to vegan recipes. There are a lot of things I cannot eat, but I can take a lot of your recipes and tweak them to what I can eat. Thank you for all the good info. That precious Max just makes my day every time he smiles. 😁

Hey Erin, what’s the purpose of taking vitamin D3? Bless 🙌
@EatMoveRest
@EatMoveRest 4 жыл бұрын
Vitamin D3 is important for a lot of functions, especially bone health, immune system, and also helps to avoid depression and low energy. It is recommended by most doctors that most people take D3 regardless of diet, because we are not getting enough naturally by exposure to the sun. Many people work inside all day every day and/or live in cold climates where it’s very difficult to get enough vitamin D from the sun.

You take a prenatal along with the vitamin d3 and b12? Also, I use the same b12, how much do you give Max?
@EatMoveRest
@EatMoveRest 4 жыл бұрын
Yes! I was told by my midwife to take it as long as I’m breastfeeding as a safeguard. I give Max 3 sprays, or 600IU of D3, and just a teeny tiny drop of the B12 since I am giving it to him on a daily basis. It is highly concentrated, and also he is still getting B12 from breastfeeding too.
@ur.fav.evelyn
@ur.fav.evelyn 4 жыл бұрын
Have you heard that your risk of some cancers increased from use of B12 supplements? Why wouldn't this make you nervous. So far from natural. You don't question this at all? Seems like you're taking a gamble on your children's lives. So risky. No gut feeling that this is so wrong and unhealthy??

@EatMoveRest
@EatMoveRest 4 жыл бұрын
Hi! You don’t have to take them together and in fact B12 is actually best absorbed by itself before a meal! I take the Brazil Nut for selenium, but there are other ways to get that nutrient! D3 is best absorbed with a source of fat, but many of them are suspended in some type of oil.

How can you eat so much food and still be so tiny and thin? 😅I feel like I‘m constantly bloated. What are your tips to avoid bloating on a vegan diet? I feel like you eat a lot of legumes like chickpeas and beans. I love to eat them as well, but they are giving me a hard time and the constant flatulance is so annoying. Lately I had to experience the bloating even with green smoothies 😔Are you suffering from this as well? What would you recommend? Lots of love ❤️

mararain22 I’m not an expert by any means, but I had the bloating as well and I guess your body just needs time to adjust? After a while (and by a while I mean a few months) my body adjusted and the bloating isn’t as bad anymore.
@agees924
@agees924 4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I think food timing has a lot to do with it. You might get bloated by eating a certain times throughout the day. I did when I ate a lot at night. Now I eat within an eight hour window.
@EatMoveRest
@EatMoveRest 4 жыл бұрын
I’ve just learned to look at bloating as a natural part of eating...you eat high volume low cal plants foods and you’re going to feel bigger while the food is digesting. Digestion in and of itself is an inflammatory process that requires a lot of energy from our bodies. As far as flatulence, lol, your body will adjust! It takes some time for it to get used to so much fiber!
@ur.fav.evelyn
@ur.fav.evelyn 4 жыл бұрын
Bloating is not a normal part of eating. If food bloats you.... you should not be eating that food. 🤦‍♀️ that's a reaction (inflammation) to something you're eating. And have you heard of oxalates, lectins?! 😳😟 these are REAL things that will damage your gut lining. You should be very concerned and feeding all those toxins to a small child...smh. you're not the least bit nervous that this is doing damage to the child? I would be. Possibly irreversible.

Please Read this until the end...as I have IMPROVED + revised the IDEA of RAW water-based vs. COOKED oil-based (gently cooked foods) > I hope that this gives you a clear picture where we stand on a more perfect VEGAN Regimen...since many unadvised Vegans have abandoned the Diet...due to their misinformed WATER-based approach > a--S-I-M-P-L-E-T-O-N--approach "🌺 ONCE supplied Daily in this primary & most important + VITAL Phosphorus mineral that is (a) soft fiber...usually in Cooling RAW foods, from the proper Plant foods & finally we're also supplied in (b) the harder protein w/ "Collagen" + COPPER 🧡..."COLLAGEN" = Botanical Wax [instead of Animal Wax]...which is for Heating & Warming foods to our system....our total restoration and the source of our well-being + health >> will be readily at our fingertips. P.S. The SOFT Water-based (1) Phosphorus Fiber....is best assimilated in Cool RAW Foods/Fruits smoothies (water-based), and the HARD Oil-based (2) Proteins w/ botanical "Collagen" consisting of Copper, Calcium, Silica w/ botanical Wax...is best assimilated when gently exposed to HEAT, Cooked Foods (Oil based)....Water-based RAW Foods are COOLING to the system...& the HEAT-processed & sea salted Cooked Foods are WARMING + HEATING to the system >> NEVER FORGET THAT..."

Regular KIWI-s are definitely GMO's... You have to look for the Non-GMO label, or Organic sold at Trader Joe's. And even Broccoli sold in regular supermarkets...are very often GMO's. Best buy Organic. Since the Planet has been under water during the Great Flood approx. 5.000 yrs. ago, the earth has lost its oils, minerals + salt...which you cannot skimp up...making for foodstuffs being more POROUS, also favoring molds, mildew, rust in soils as well.
