Just got this bag yesterday, you weren't kidding on the pockets. Can't wait to use it for San Antonio next week then two weeks in Europe. Great Review.

This bag does fit under the seat on most US domestic flights. Often on international flights, you have less room on the plane. But I've traveled with this bag several times, on American, Delta, Southwest and Jet Blue and it fit under the seat on all the planes we went on. Great review!

The black background was a bad choice when trying to showcase a black bag. It made it harder to see the details and size of the actual bag.

This is the best review I’ve seen of this bag. I will be using mine on an upcoming trip and I hope it won’t break my back.

Thanks Rhonda! If you have any other questions let me know. It's really a great bag, if it makes you feel any better I have a bad back and did OK carrying it through Thailand and Hong Kong. Just don't pack it too full and you'll be okay.

It actually DOES fit under the seat. I have one, and flew with it to Australia from the US. Also a 16 hour flight. Zero problems with it under the seat.

Depends on which airline I suppose but I personally didn’t feel comfortable with it under the seat on any airline and I’m only 5’4”.

This was helpful, thank you! I love so many things about this bag! Cool to see the back zipper in action hiding the straps. Ebags has improved that floppy water bottle holder so it's now a zip up style pocket. I appreciate that since I don't use water bottle holders, and that gives flexibility to use it as a pocket for people like me. It also now lists a padded laptop sleeve. Just wish they would use a light blue, soft gray, or even tan for the interior instead of that heinous orange!!!! It's a perfectly fine color, but way too shouty and clashing to my eyes! - Thanks again for the review!

No, it’s just big to have under the seat even half packed. You can do it but it’s uncomfortable. If it was fully stuffed it definitely wouldn’t fit under.

Great review! Do you have any pics of you carrying the bag? I’m trying to figure out how it would look on my frame and if it would be overwhelming (I’m 5’5” with a shorter torso). Thanks! 🙂

Why u chose the junior instead of the normal size? Is there any major difference? Im trying to decide as i just got the normal size and I feel is a bit too big

I felt the regular one was too big, I’m glad I got the junior one. It fits under a plane seat but not comfortably. I can’t imagine it being any bigger.

Andrea Reyes I would definitely recommend the junior, it fits a couple days worth of clothes/cosmetics/electronics you’d bring on a trip. I took it on a 2 day work trip recently and everything fit perfectly.

Does anyone know if this is flexible enough to fit under the airplane seat if underpacked? Or is the “frame” rigid enough that even an under packed back will not fit?

Shorty Grey you can fit it if it’s underpacked. If you visit the link in the description I have a photo of the bag underpacked in an economy airplane seat. The frame isn’t that rigid.
