I purchased two of these trikes back in December for my wife and I. We are in our 70's and our sense of balance is not as good as it once was. After adjusting to riding a Trike for the first time they are great. We had to go through a period of adjustment going from a bike to a Trike but it was painless. You don't balance a Trike you drive it. The Trike itself is very well built but it does require some assembly. Six Three Zero even gives you a great tool to assemble it with. It took about an hour to assemble. I did have one issue with the tike. Since the tires are 16" it can be difficult to attach an air chuck to the valve stem. Especially the front tire with the large 750 watt motor. In the process of trying to air up the front tire I broke the valve stem from the inner tube. I purchased a replacement inter tube for $13 that had a 90° valve stem and that solves the problem. I contacted Six Three Zero about the problem and they offered to replace the inter tube but it was not the kind with the 90° valve stem so I declined there offer. I found there customer support was excellent. I would purchase an after market 90° valve stem extension to make it easier to air up all three tires. We live in a mountainous city. The 750 watt motor has no problem powering the Trike up steep mountainous paved roads. We are very pleased with our purchase.

I purchased this etrike two weeks ago but have only ridden it twice. The weather is Chicagoland is always iffy! The first time I rode it I was terrified. So different from a regular bike. The second time I started off just scared but by the end of my little 20 minute session I was okay🤔🤨 Then I realized I needed to let the trike help me get going. Once I used the pedal assist everything smoothed out. I love it. I've had no issues with it, no clinking, or squeeking. Brakes are perfect and everything seems good. I'm trying to watch as many videos as possible to figure out this whole etrike thing and your video was just what I needed. Thanks.

Thanks for another great review, Richard! Were you able to adjust the breaks so they did not seem "soft"? Also, were you able to figure out what the clunking was from the back end? Axle/differential vs derailleur? SixThreeZero has an assembly video on its site and there seems to be a need to adjust the brakes and the derailleur. It was not very detailed. Would you be willing to do a detailed video on adjusting mechanical brakes and derailleurs? Thanks for all you and Amanda do.🚲

Very nice a fine review here - thank you! this trike would be a game changer for folks that only had the option of a scooter mobility device. and with a Reverse feature too !?! sweet! up here most stores have scooters to shop on, And this trike would be great for shopping. its smaller size - plus the ability to pedal if powers out would be really nice. as for being slower? gee thats a GOOD thing to make you feel better & in control of your machine. on my ebikes Ive learned to go into settings and adjust my PAS levels as I like to go, but Not be launched like a rocket. all I have are cadence sensors & Ive found adjusting [lowering] PAS lvls to give me a better control as I like to go, but not to go out of control. If I want to get launched? my throttle can do that for me :)

They have a new one with 2 front wheels and a rear motor, I saw a video and the lady riding looked uncomfortable and unsure of its stability, I wish you could get a hold of one and give it the proper, thorough Richard test. This trike is begging for a larger battery, it does have plenty of room. It would lessen range anxiety.

oh wow! a 750 watt motor!?! thats some power to get us there. and if we run out of power we can pedal back. :) might be something to think about when comparing to the mobility scooter. ? on city streets & sidewalks to the aisle to shop? no need to worry about security as you can take this trike with you. I can see the smaller tires being great for this. thanks for the information. I have been recommending trikes to some of my older family & friends. these few changes might silence some of their concerns. reverse! and yeah mechanical brakes. :) it has a small battery? oh well we can carry another or add another solution to silence that concern.

The lean in the road that you mentioned isnsomething I'd like to avoid. Have you tried any trikee that dont teeter?
