I found that my front shocks were dead on Jan. 1st 2020.

Then Coronavirus took over the world around end of March 2020 so I was not able to go check how a new suspension set up went.
But finally I have a chance to go to Ebisu circuit with Robbie Nishida on July 18th 2020.This is a newest video from Ebisu circuit.

2016年ぶりにエビスに行ってきました。
ふらっと行ったらエビスですごく懐かしい人たちに会いました。
最近まったくドリフトしてないのでショボイですがせっかく走ったので記念に撮影しました。

Proper drifting. Not all this handbrake bullshit most is these days. Using the footbrake and momentum to rotate the car on hairpins, something most people these days seem to think isn't possible

@@boreese2089 Yep. In fact one of the last comments on any of my videos was asking how I drift the Mercedes I had when the "handbrake" is a footbrake on them?! Simple, I don't use the handbrake, same as I don't on any of my other drift cars for the last 15 years lol.

hmm interesting doesn't have to use clutch when shifting. Must have it tuned for flat-shift.

It'll be a dog box. Not flat shifting though, he lifts off the throttle to unload the dog gears.

What’s the transmission he uses? It looks like he’s not using clutch when he shifts

Dog engagement rings instead of synchromesh. You can shift without a clutch at high revs, but not at full power. That's why the person is lifting his foot off the throttle during shifts. At lower revs, you'll notice him using the clutch.

What I do wonder is how often you go through a clutch? I'm a fan of clutch kicking over using the handbrake to drift but I killed my first clutch that came with my car from clutch kicking (and doing shit burnouts that likely span the clutch more than the tyres).

Low power/torque clutch will last a long time :) Even in my skyline I kick the clutch constantly for 6 years and it still had life left when i replaced it

He's still saving his clutch as much as possible and is for example doing clutchless shifting at 1:20

@@shockjockey5274 That's not saving his clutch. He has a dog box currently so you don't use the clutch when shifting up gears with it.
