Is it possible to adjust the safety depth together with the safety contour?

Shallow water calculation , why would you substract height of tide. With a 12 mtr dynamic draft if you keep shallow contour as 10 mtr, the you will go aground if you go in 11 mtr depth which will fall within the safety contour as per your calculations.
