This my cs590 pulling a 28 inch bar with full skip chain, the sawself did really well i’m used to the 620/680 with the 28 I normally run a 24 inch bar on my 590 but overall it did do very well with the 28. I had a lot of request wanting to see it and I hope everyone is happy and enjoyed the video.

A very large 28-34 inch tree fell in my front yard 2 weeks back. Me and a friend bucked the whole thing (about 40 feet) with a stock 590 with a 24 inch bar and brand new chain. No problems whatsoever. I’m sure it woulda been faster with a monster saw but like I said had no problems at all. Cut like butter.

Liked because shows actual time it takes , 590 will do it just not very fast .

I think my MS250 with 24in Cannon Super Mini bar and picco chain would smoke that saw. Be fun to race.:) Theres some goods vids of that set up.

Ms 250 is a joke , purchased one in a pinch, would sell it for 100.00 cash, plastic stihls are worthless .

It was ok at the start of the log cos it was only cutting half but once it got down a bit it had the whole diameter to cut and the motor was clearly struggling. It cut it ok but long term it would burn out the motor.
