I was there up a tree smoking a joint with Dad stood at the bottom waiting to drive me home . They were fantastic One of the best bands ive ever heard live ,,

😄👏👏 Lucky you. Just the best band in the first half of the 80s.. Only Banshees and The Sound can resist a comparison.

I was at the very front in front of the lake, funny I can hear my friend screaming after all the songs.. Great memories of being 14. This was the 1st time I saw echo and the bunnymen live.

L Shankar really adds to this performance, he should have been a permanent member. Probably the finest version of "Do It Clean", Will's guitar playing is at it's jagged best.

My memory is hazy but I think this was part of the 'larks in the park' concerts, maybe only happened for a couple of years but featured several lpool based bands
