In these terrible times, Eckhart Tolle should be given more attention. People need to be in the present, away from their false sense of I.

Anyone seeing this, remember...if you don't understand, then you are on the right path :) Like the Tao Te Ching says, those who understand do not understand, those who see do not see. It's a wonderful mystery and you are wonderful. You are it. You are the universe. There's nothing to think that will change anything, nothing to feel that will change anything. You are it :) I like books like "30 Days to Discover Who I Am" by Harper Daniels and many of Tolle's books, but in the end, it's silence that speaks, the thunder of silence.

When he said, "you are the Now", it resonated so deeply, I laughed and thought...of course!😂❤

Mr. Tolle, your book The Power of Now changed my life. It was then, i woke up and love and joy and gratefulness poured from me, thru me. Much love and peace blossomed within me. I guess you can call that connecting with your Self? "...like the innermost depth of a pond..we are..." What was, as i had perceived to be the most awful, nightmarish time of my life, was transformed to be the most beautiful, insightful, peaceful and GRATEFUL time in my life. Thank you. Indeed, Eckhart is right. Many spiritualists try to run away from the present moment, trying to convince themselves that right now is just an illusion and you don't need to pay attention to the now. But they forget that "what you do in life echoes in eternity." Accept that your soul and mind have identified with the human mind frequency and you're having a human experience... in the NOW.

I know that you might think that I am mistaking but I can know that I am pure consciousness while still being in a state of pure awareness. You had spontaneous enlightenment so it (enlightenment) just happened for you out of suffering. However, I am a seeker and I found enlightenment by discombobulating my thoughts. I can shuffle up all my thoughts as the witnessing presence. Then purposefully confused and disorient my thoughts as the witnessing presence. Then I pull my awareness forward from the witnessing presence and I can keep letting my thoughts pass by as I am in a state of pure presence. It has pulled me out of many very compelling thought streams. Thank you:)

Eckhart, I hope you'll read this. I used to live in Cambodia, in Siem Reap. I also used to be vegan, avoid plastic at all costs (going to the fresh market with my own containers), only ride a bicycle, chanted mantras, went for long walks, rescued 2 dogs and 1 cat and, during my long journey throughout India and South East Asia fed numerous people. I was born and raised in Italy with Christian principles, left the Church as a teenager to search for the truth elsewhere: psychology, philosophy, Taoism, Buddhism, Hinduism and I even read the Quaran. I have lived and travelled extensively all over Asia so that I could experience first-hand the meaning of certain ideas. Five years ago, while in Siem Reap, I decided to do a water fast as I had a vision of dark spots in my liver. In addition, both of my rescued dogs dies so I got terribly depressed. During the water fast I lost consciousness and entered a completely new dimensions where the colours were much brighter, I was filled with boundless joy, had no thought nor thought processes and did not have a language to communicate. I was fully dressed sitting in a natural pool of water made with rocks and fed by a gentle mountain stream. There was another pool adjacent to mine were there was an Asian woman about my age (50). We were laughing, splashing water and giggling just like toddlers would. The feeling of joy was overwhelming something I have never felt in this dimension. When I opened my eyes in this rather gloomy dimension, my landlord was asking me permission to break in to take me to the hospital. Two months had gone by since the beginning of the fast. My central nervous system compromised, unable to walk and see properly from one eye. Before getting rescued, a Khmer woman materialised in my room and told me that I'd be reborn in Cambodia. Later on I started seeing spirits and demons, I could hear their thoughts in my head. I was severely abused and malnourished the angrier I got. I begged the Divine to help me and my soul was ripped off my body and I became aware of being a sparkle of Light in a white luminiscent space. Gradually, I understood that everything is made of energy and such energy is molded by conscious lifeforms with their feelings and thoughts thus only by cultivating inner peace you free yourself from the human drama. Be here now! 😁✌️💖

Very good. I felt like this was almost a trick question from the lady. It seemed like she had formed her answer within her question and was projecting that. Interesting. Almost like trying to confuse the intuition with or without her awareness. Like putting her own spin on what is with a convoluted question. It is does seem that the tougher a persons life was before awakening, the more presence they feel when they do awaken?
 Eckhart’s teeth have seriously decayed. Maybe the reason for this is because before he awakened and was identified with his mind, he did not look after himself properly? 
It is quite normal for people who have low self esteem, mainly due to poor parenting, upbringing, a lack of genuine love for the child in the development stage, that results in the child growing up with a lack of love for themselves.

 Obviously, he does not want to show the teeth under his top lip, as he is a public speaker. That is understandable, and even though he could afford cosmetic teeth replacement, he has chosen to remain authentic. 
I admire that.

 It is incredible that despite his past, he went on to become one of the most inspiring spiritual teachers on the planet, a astonishing transformation. 

Maybe he would not be the teacher he is today without those dark days of his past, when he was identified with his mind?

 Eckhart is a authentic teacher, who has, and continues to inspire me, by being a window into presence. Not a guru, treating him as a guru is also the egoic mind!
 He is a Window in presence, and I am grateful for that.

If in a dream we tried to prove the reality of the dream world by probing the ' stuff' of that world it isn't much different than his' real' one in the way matter is mostly ' empty space' and vibrations of energy ,waves , and frequencies and ultimately collapsing into form by consciousness. Reality is a shared concensus dream and those not agreeing can be considered crazy at worse. Fascinating, we may have gone to the moon in 69 in a dream, where everything needed to achieve it was also a dream, all the technology all the centuries of scientific exploration and all the imagination ( dreams) of fellow dreamers throughout time( which is of course dream like and also a concensus agreement). We create our own reality by our beliefs. If you think you can or think you can't, either way you're right. To ponder in this moment so much is happening in other cities ,other places other worlds across this strange universe is mind blowing. Of course like in a video game on a screen only the now moment reality is present all other frames out of sight digitally encoded into the game structure. Makes one think just how much control each player has inside the game matrix. Wonderful insight as ever from Eckhart in his unique comedic style. ❤

We'll, well. What a coincidence! I haven't listened to him for over a year now, when he just appeared in my recommended today, with this video. Today, I just explained to someone (in my mind only ...now) certain aspects of "life". I said, imagine that you are sitting in an armchair, after some shock, not knowing it. You don't have time to analyze your situation, because a VR helmet on you start playing. You are not aware of the helmet. You see light, by the end of the tunnel close to you. The picture is moving, the entrance is always further from you. You feel, you are moving backyards in the tunnel, while the armchair is still, not moving. Now imagine, the tunnel is time. What you see, is your past. You feel like you are moving into the future. False conclusion, for all you know for sure, that your always have more and more past. It doesn't mean any future. In fact the opposite. The only "future" is there, that you will have more past. It is the only direction you can see. You can't see back, into the future, for there is none. You are not moving in time. Also, it adds to the mystery, that you are able to influence a tiny fraction of what will you see in your immediate past. This tiny power makes us believe, we can influence the ", future". We can't, for there's none. We do this always, changing the way we look at distant past, as well. I realised space consciousness through this video. I guess I was ready. To me, that space that is called now relates to the fifth element talked in Dzogchen Tibetan teaching on the Rainbow Body that the only difference is that that element is real compared to the teachings found in Tibet. I differentiate the five elements that are still in illusory form and the five elements - fire water air earth and space - that are physical and thus real beyond the perceptive field of consciousness. I believe Eckhart is the first being to have found the beginning of the “physical” rainbow body as space. The other elements should follow the space element and leave you rainbow in a physical way at death or through embodiment. It is a new rainbow teaching they have found without realising.

I have a doubt. I felt many times (in other videos of his) that he says consciousness is evolving. This talk suggests that it is unchangeable. Am I not understanding it correctly?

Sometimes I like to play the other side advocate . This video is ended by confirming that since there is a place from where we can see blue or green it must be separate from blue or green. The skeptic would say it's only being designated as apart. Just like if you were at a carnival and everything was moving, rides, people, etc. you could designate the spot where you are standing as not moving. It is however moving with the planet, the universe etc. Similarly in saying that there is the observation of states of coming and going common to everyday life untouched by coming and going might only be a designated view. A designated now. This is the view of science not my view. Luckily there are other ways to prove existence outside of form. Interaction with formless consciousness external to one's own body is what is required. At that point, you can trust that there is more to it than a mental designation. 😊😊

As there can be nothing that is unless it be true, it follows that if one is going to write or speak of truth one must start with now - what is. Only existence exists. I'm confused. If nobody goes anywhere or does anything, how did Mr. Tolle get to the meeting? Where did they go when it was over? Does non-permanent equate to non-real? Do we live our lives as though nothing matters and all is illusion?

Locally, for you as an observer, it is true that there is only one now. That is adequately determined for us to live and act. But there are, theoretically, many nows that are at variance with one another in spacetime because they are on different vectors at different relative speeds. Has no practical application for most people unless you maintain GPS satellites or the like, but fun. His answer to her here isnt incomplete, its just limited in scope for purposes of answering her question.

To know that everything is illusion and impermanence one should experience the truth. Otherwise it is just heard thing which always gives rise confusion only. So live it rather than arguing it. Ince it is known it is neither permanent nor impermanent, just being, just an existence, nothing more to talk about for no words there to label it.
