He is correct in every word explaining the reasons the great inequality. What he didn't discuss is how this has gone on for six decades of presidents of which only one has tried to help the common folks, our middle and working class like myself who started working in 1960 until recently with little to show for it. Insufficient retirement security, not enough wages earned to afford a house, etc. We are feeling squeezed. Why is no one doing anything other than making suggestions .... such as UBI ... that no one is taking seriously. Why the paralysis? We know, of course, the answer. Those who could make life fairer for all, politicians, etc. have been bought off, have what they need, but are indifferent to the needs of the majority. And you wonder why there is so much despair now, as reflected in a record high number of suicides? I returned to college late in life and didn't get a college degree until I was 60. Yey no job offer. That was 20 years ago. I just want my few remaining years free from financial worry. It doesn't look promising.

@@SaundraRaynor I have been a youtuber since its early inception. Always interested in what people have to say I have seen the tone change. The unjust disparity in wealth and income has created hatred toward our 1%. I can't help but feel that we are sitting on top of a volcano which can burst any day.

Came here after watching the debate with Patrick Bet-David, which was outstanding (for both men), and am important example of how to have a reasoned intellectual debate on fundamental economic issues without resorting to emotion or dogma. Props to Dr. Wolff - this is very interesting content and I'm sure it will only catch on more.

Usually agree with Doctor Wolff. However, ren control does not work. I experienced it in Los Angeles, and it encouraged landlords of rent. Controlled properties to deform maintenance become slumlords and made it impossible to move. You can't put the Burden of rent control on private ownership of land government needs to provide housing that is rent-controlled, not private. Individuals

Compare the audio without touching the volume to ring of fire, or humanist report, literally play just about any other video that isn't this one and pay attention to how much louder it is compared to this where you can't even hear him talking over the background music. My phone is fine and i know what I'm talking about.

Its divide and conquer you get it soo well professor 👏 you hit the nail on the head as a man whom built-up many houses for these vile pirates i can tell you America has a caste system. I wish now that i did not break my body slaving away with nothing but an empty wallet with the a hole the size of a dime not a dollar i only worry for my children. Inflation is killing the low income who are barely making a living now. Now high interest rates to combat inflation is worsening the situation. Somehow I think both political parties could care less.
