The economy grew at a rate of 5 percent during first three months of 2024 supported by agriculture due to favourable weather, the services sectors and real estate. This is slower than the 5.5 percent economic growth rate recorded during a similar period in 2023 due to slower growth recorded by agriculture and manufacturing as well as decelerations in construction and transport.
