You do you. Bikes are Euro 5 now and the fuel maps are made to run so lean out the factory, same with throttle mapping they don’t give you even a fraction of 100%. Honestly a remap is the best money you can spend on a bike these days and that’s with prices being circa £450 these days.

Luke G if you are unhappy with your extra power and smoother throttle we can remove the work we’ve done. What we do will certainly work properly, there’ll be nothing to fix afterwards. In 17 years of tuning bikes we have never had a customer ask us to put their bike back to standard, as the improvements are fantastic. If you don’t want more power then don’t book in, but if you do, you’ll like the outcome.

We can remap the Versys 650 from the 2015 to the 2019 model. 👍🏼

alistair tang fitting a full race exhaust will usually alter the fuelling so much that you lose bottom end and mid range power, as well as running too lean/hot. Unless you spend the extra and have it mapped correctly we’d recommend leaving the exhaust alone rather than fitting a full race exhaust. We can map a bike with either the standard or a race exhaust, but if the exhaust is then changed, it will no longer be running perfectly,

jordanbikestv one more question: Can you reflash the ECU on any bike with EFI? More specifically a 2018 CBR650F. Or is a Power Commander/Bazzaz the only way to go? Thanks Alistair

Many bikes have an O2 sensor but many are narrow band not wide band. My understanding is the narrow is like on off i.e. lean, ok or rich, but not by how much. Wide is like lean, good, rich, and by how much.

Triumphant_Chubby it depends whether your insurance company have tuning software to plug in and check.

I'm slowly beginning to understand this "new-fangled" injection stuff ! haha It seems that most of the sensors are basically potentiometers that have some mechanical method of moving of a contact coil giving a variable 0 - 5v. signal to the ECU. Here in Brazil the sensors from the concessionaire are silly expensive, but I have found chinese ones that appear to be the same as the originals, but at 1/10th. of the price ! Just a quick question.... if these sensors work inside such a tight resistance/voltage range 0 - 5v. are they much the same ?, for example the MAP, (400mm.Hg), sensor on my bike appears to be exactly the same as the one Mitsubishi and Toyota use on some of their cars and trucks, and the simple two-wire TPS sensors only seem to vary in their mounting and turn direction, left or right-hand ! Obviously I understand that the originals would probably be the best bet, but I would have to stop eating for a couple of months to be able to buy those ! hahaha Thanks and Cheers, Chris in Brazil

Most bikes are set to run rich from the factory, so once the fuelling is set up correctly by us they’ll run more efficiently.

Gee Six the same as the immediate effect. Better mpg, more power, more torque, smoother throttle, restrictions removed. It runs as the factory intended before the were forced to tone it all down for EU regulations.

Combat Geeks it costs tens of thousands of pounds to develop the remap for each bike, an Australian company does the development, and so we don’t offer remaps for every bike out there, just the ones they’ve developed and tried and tested, and demand for 125s is small so it’s not one they’ve put money into. With the best will in the world a remap on a 125 4 stroke might get an extra 1 BHP so it wouldn’t be great value for the bikes owner either, as it takes many hours and costs £380 to do, so 125s just aren’t on our list I’m sorry.
