I like his practical response when comes to how the artist feels about the mix. They either gonna like it or not, move on. As a producer have a hard time with this when me and a artist agree on a mixer. It’s hard not to have edits on a rough you heard 1000 times before sending for mixing 😂

Couldn't say what his situation is, but if it's a question of practical advice, get paid something up front, whether it's the rate or just an advance. And do not release the files until you've received the full payment. Do not release files until you've received full payment.

it’s probably more common than you think. especially at that level/budget. we all have different ears and different tastes, thousands of ways to do it and there is no singular “right” way. :)
