I love the loving "uncle" look Vedder has in his eyes when he looks at Ms. Cornell. Also the way she listens and takes in what he says. And her laugh is so sweet :) I wish both of them the best.

OMG, I was just saying that to a friend of mine, the pure joy exuding form Eddie at what a beautiful intelligent woman that Toni has grown into is so written all over his face. I'm totally guessing here, but I think with Chris being so close to both Toni and Lilly, and them being so much like Chris is certain ways, and facial expressions, it makes Eddie feel like he's talking with his good friend again, when he gets to chat with either of the girls.

I met him once in St. Louis at the amphitheater, that all cities have, was still on the job in EMS back then and worked secondary job doing EMS at the concerts, good money and you kind of get to see a free concert. I think it was LalaPalooza, one of the guys that worked there and hung out a bunch in the EMS office cause we had AC, was a promoter and knew I loved Pearl Jam, He goes, Hey, there's Eddie! I'm like, shut up, he goes, right there moron, and there he was, not back stage, or in VIP, just walking around the crowd, out by the concession area, hardly anybody stopped him either, because I don't they really thought he'd be just walking around. He did have his classic brownish green denim jacket on that he always wore with the cargo shorts and black boots. I'd like to say that I had a wonderful chat with him about world views and philosophies, hell, I'd like to tell you I shook his hand and said big fan even. Instead, a grown ass man, literally being paid at that second to help injured people and possibly save a life, almost fainted like a teen girl at a Beatles concert back in the day. So instead of fainting, I just froze. The promoter guy goes, I knew he was a fan, but damn, be careful this guy might stalk ya. Eddie was so nice, he's like, gotta run, thanks for having or back at these concerts, it's nice to know you guys are around. That was 25yrs or ago, and I still kick myself...lol. He is definitely a down to earth man of the people type guy. Sorry, I rambled, hadn't thought of that in years, and just popped in my head reading the comments, I figured what better place to share an Eddie story than among the fans that love him. ✌️❤️️

you know, i value what eddie says about life so much. life is all about ups and downs, and downs and ups. you can’t live thinking life is full of downs even if that is the majority of time. the best mindset is that life is full of peaks and valleys when you’re at the bottom you dread the fact you gotta get to the top of the mountain. but when you reach the top it feels so rewarding it overpowers that original dread, when you come down and reach the valley before you start climbing again, don’t dread the climb, embrace it, know you’re working towards another reward like the last. never give up.❤️

I saw Chris Cornell five times the first time was in 1999 on the Euphoria morning tour . Then I saw him three times with Audioslave . The last time I saw him was with Soundgarden at the Fillmore in Detroit the second to the last time they played there, I think it might have been 2014 I would have to look at my ticket stub. But Chris Cornell was absolutely a brilliant songwriter and guitar player most people don't give him credit for as good as guitar player as he was. His voice is so awesome.. Euphoria morning was definitely a personal type show with so much soul. Layne Staley was another vocal God absolutely brilliant... Chris and Layne are in my top five vocals of all time.. I seen Pearl Jam once in 1998 I think it was with Cheap Trick warming up for them. They put on an awesome show . I still have a sound garden buisness card from the late eighties that has Susan Silver's phone number on it. I cannot believe how much Lily looks like Chris that is totally awesome . I saw the Who in 1979 with Blackfoot warming them up and the last concert I went to was the Who in 2019 in Grand Rapids at the Van Andel Arena
