Eega is probably the most eccentric Indie superhero film ever. When this film was being made, many ridiculed Rajamouli for making a Fly aa Superhero but Eega went on to win several awards and was one of the most successful film at the B.O.

The thing is a lot of people made fun of the director saying that his movies were only a hit because of famous male actors who are acting in his movies. So in this movie the director made a movie without even including an actor. It was literally a fly😂😂😂 And the movie was a super hit

I've never seen this movie but I'm aware of it as Corridor Digital did a breakdown of the fly vfx. Looks like a great movie!

Rajamouli may not specifically know about anime as far as I've known about his influences, but his sense of storytelling, the drama intensity, emotions, action is as dramatic and intense as anime gets. And that's brilliant. Yes, Absolutely, SS Rajamouli is the perfect director to make live action anime... As he is doing almost anime like movies in live action successfully.. both commercialmas well as critical success for his vision and brilliance. So, he is THE person to do anime live action. ABSOLUTELY!!! And me being a huge anime fan and from the same (Telugu speaking) region from where SS Rajamouli is from, and me growing up watching his movies as well as anime... I have a huge respect for him to make movies as dramatic and impactful as anime... as I personally feel anime to be the epitome of storytelling, great plots and characters, and visual spectacle... Which give one of the most impactful, intense and emotional experiences in all media.

Btw, The one piece live Action Netflix show's official trailer is out!! And it might potentially be the show that breaks the anime live action curse.... And its budget is 18 million per episode. It's an 8 episodes season 1 covering first saga of around 60 episodes in the anime. A good opportunity to spread the brilliant story of one piece to the general audience as well as the anime fans who didn't watch/read it due to its length. Please check it out!

SUDHEEP is an amazing actor and superstar in KANNADA (K.G.F series) film industry. Where as NANI is known as Natural star in TELUGU ( R.R.R) film industry..

You made an extremely accurate analysis. Rajamouli himself said in an interview that he and his dad(story writer for his films) sit together and imagine a few highlight scenes, and then weave a story connecting these scenes!

That's the speciality of Rajamouli. Prima facie he designs all plots having very strong emotions...and he builds technical brilliance to that plot. Particularly with this movie since it is a fantacy movie he was clever enough to start this as a bed time narrative to a daughter by a father

I needed this reaction. Please react to more telugu movies. Over time you'll get more and more Telugu people watching you react to telugu cinema awesomeness. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are two states in India these are the only two states in which telugu people reside in. Most states in India have their own language. "Telugu" is the name of the language spoken in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The language you heard in "eega" was telugu as well.

You watched RRR, Bahubali 1 and 2 and Eega. Now continue with MAGADHEERA (2009) 50% of the movie is as fun as Eega, 50% of the movie is as epic as Bahubali, and it stars Ram Charan (of RRR fame). You will like it as well.

In Rajamouli's head there are so many quite epic images... He just stores them and when he screenwrites the appropriate images fall into the script and movie becomes more epic. He took 2 years to make this movie. Its Rajamouli who narrated the story to small girl

i would suggest you please watch KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2, KGF is the biggest film franchise in India, it's fan base is on par with Marvel and DC combined, but KGF is not everyone's cupe of tea, a lot of people don't like it and thinks it's an overrated peace of garbage.

Rajamouli experimented with various designs of fly, few being realistic. But then decided to go with a bit cartoony model, as realistic fly model was just ...yucky 😅😅

Now if you ever watch another Indian movie change the genre a little. Here r some suggestions Tumbbad : its a masterpiece horror with no cliche ghosts or sprits. Its something beyond fear. Andhadhun : Mind blowing thriller one of the best thriller movies that came out of Indian cinema. Also dont watch any trailer or synopsis. Have fun

This film was initially a low budget movie but Rajamouli didnt like the quality of vfx. Even the producer after seeing the director putting lot of work bumped up the budget and the shooting extended by 9 months

You should know one more interesting movie which comes in future and which is a dream project of Rajamouli is Mahabharat, but he used to say that he needs another 10 years of experience to start this project. You can imagine how it is going to be.. 10 times better than RRR :-) He is a god gifted person for the entire film industry. No doubts about that. May be iam bit exaggerating but it's fact too.
