She needed to step away & get control of her life. So sad she was finally getting her life back together and getting back in control...& then she drank herself to death and her bulimia damaged heart could not take another binge. This poor woman ...EVERYONE wanting more, more, more from her.

I mean I would rather have her still here and just live a stable happy life even if she didn't drop anymore music 😞💔 I know she still would've made music as long as she could've tho... I think she mentioned wanting to do a group album with her Yasiin bey and Raphael saddiq which would've been amazing... and if her nas were able to a project or more songs together in general to... but lioness treasures was released posthumously but it wasn't many songs and even had a couple different versions of songs she already did but there were a couple unreleased songs I'm pretty sure

jazz was her mainstay, with other influences of course, but in jazz, it's about improvisation and I think she was best live, where she could sing the song different every time, her joy.

well said. The singing was the important thing to her and she was too fragile for the wild, hectic, paparazzi fame. She was a person first and foremost. She had some toxic and selfish people around her in the music BUSINESS and she was an artist. Already she had suffered depression, bulimia, and then drugs/alcohol and her fragile body just passed on. Peace to Amy and thanks.
