The only retaliation I accept in races is letting your skills do the talking in winning the race in a clean manner. If you race and a driver did you dirty and you still win despite that, then it's a huge slap on his face, right?

My take on things... Incident 1 - Rory at fault, unintentionally failed to leave room. Incident 2 - Pascal at fault, the lifting off ahead of the corner definitely makes it look intentional. Incident 3 - Pascal at fault, though it's maybe slightly debatable as to whether he realises he moved twice; we can't know for sure. Incident 4 - Definite red mist moment from Pascal, only possible half reason he may feel it's justified is if he though Rory was at fault for Incident 3, but I'm really stretching things to try and give him some benefit of the doubt here. I'm no ACC/LFM expert, but how much realistic chance is there of a sanction of some kind for this?

First crash wasn't Rory fault. It was a braking Zone, he went for a gap that didn't exist. The only mistake is that he leaved some space. But there wasn't space for a car there, and the guy wasn't alongside him to give him space.

he wi'll 100% get a 28 days break in a couple of days if its his first incident. Permanent if he did this more often iirc. Takes some time for the stewards to get a look at the reports but when they've seen this they'll penalize it according to the guideline

@@kalrot3992 It was tight, but there was room for him at one point. He went for it and that room went away with Rory drifting left. I'd give that 75% Rory, 25% rager, that move was likely to end in tears, but he had a right to go for it.

We don't know when Rory reported the guy, if ever. Plus, usually the stewards' decision can take a few days.

only gets a ban if you report it also, i wouldnt have made that move after him moving twice since his behavior was a bit out of control. LFM is great and all most of the drivers there dont have league racing experience.

I'd definitely send the entire incident in for context. What you did was obviously not intentional, although I could see him thinking that it was but, that happens all the time in that turn. for some reason people think thats a great place to overtake apparently in the top split as well. Also, I think I read in the LFM rules that making more than one blocking move like he did is not allowed and the intentional waiting for you at the finish line is for sure not allowed. I was surprised to see that in the top split, I'm trying to get faster and move out of the lower splits I'd hate to spend the time and practice that it takes to get to the top split just to get banned because I couldn't control myself.

God, it's a shame that there are people in this world like this! What benefit do they get from it? We are doing F1 cars on Fuji in GT7 and there are people that race on there that do basically the same thing! I really don't understand it! Now it's got so that even if you qualify in the front there is going to be someone from the middle that is going to take you out.

It's a bit more acceptable in games like GT7 and Forza.. but in a game like ACC, in LFM.. there are harsh penalties for poor sportsmanship. LFM is just as strict, perhaps more so than iRacing. If you join LFM, you likely know the rules.

You screwed him over on that first turn, then in the straight he attempted to defend his position and you hit him and sent him off the track a second time. Then he had enough. Bad racing on both sides. And your reverse into the racing line should’ve gotten you a ban as well.

The guy should definatly get a ban. You should report him. However, you should take a penalty for reversing in the middle of the road and forcing other cars to manoeuvre around you. You reversed in the middle of the road and started to move across the track, putting others at risk, especially the Ferrari that barely avoided you. You cannot cross the track like that. You could have gone in reverse, but first you had to see if the track was clear, and it wasn't, or start to move slowly.

How was Rory "clearly faster" lol? That guy was seconds in front before he purposefully lifted to wait for Rory in incident 2. Incident 1 is obviously, completely on Rory. You don't even know what a dive bomb is. Rory moved in the braking zone while having a car side by side. Incidents 2, 3 and 4, no question: that other guy lifted to wait, pushed Rory outside, moved twice in the braking zone and ofc rammed at the end.

Reporting anyone in LFM at the moment is a complete and utter waste of time because you'll get SR reduction only. Perhaps a suspension. I haven't bothered reporting anyone for weeks, literally no incentive to drive clean. They need to permanently ban arseholes like this.

First incident is just a racing incident. In my opinion, he was being too impatient an just chucking it in, he wasn't even at your rear quarter panel even under braking until you started turning into the corner, so he wouldn't have made it anyway, he would have went too deep. After that? its just straight up being a sore loser.

Seriously though, to the guy getting hit by you from behind and spun off the track. Where then you can drive past. It's such an unfair and annoying thing to be hit from behind by people trying to overtake. I know you didn't mean it. But to the driver, it can seem very deliberate at the time. They think "you wrecked my race, now I will wreck yours" its actually totally understandable and human nature. The thing is though, under replays, it looks so much clearer, and we can see that it was not deliberate by you. Also, it is a race too, so the other things mentioned here I don't see as necessary, I don't think it is necessary to give people behind you courtesy, allow the leader to pass, or allow someone overtaking car width on track. It makes no sense to me why one should allow people behind easy passage past in a race. Many drivers expect you to get out of their way. I disagree. And if I block a driver behind me, it doesn't give the driver permission to ram me etc. its a race, not a kiddy smash up derby. The impatient people's unwillingness to put on the brakes and try again next corner or next lap is why 90% of crashes (hit in rears) happen.

Gt7 is designed to be a simcade, it edges more towards sim than arcade but acc is a full on sim, its not for everybody, you have to put the hours in to be competative on sims, well worth it though.

I hope i explain this the right way🫣 from my perspective you where both driving aggressively where the other one defended aggressively. Car width on straight questionbly. I think you should have backed of before reaching end of straight and kept the right pressure on the other driver and waited on that mistake to overtake because i defently think he didn't have a good day racing. But over a period of time ive been following you on KZfaq I've watching you try to hard. You need to relax and find yourself again and enjoy racing again because your a good driver but seems like your trying to hard getting positions. Because there is a fine line between a good driver and pressure the right way to pressure to aggressively or defending to aggressively in racing. Don't think to much when racing just enjoy it and having fun that's the key. Last incident your right such things should never happen in a race. If the other was me i would just take the penalty and finished the race and reflected over the race and hoped you still got a good race despite the incidents. ( That's what the other driver should have done in that case ). I'm not trying to argue whit anyone and no I'm not the other driver. But never the less keep racing you are a good sim racer 👍 have a nice day/evening 😊 ( sorry my spelling ).

I think you are wrong about the one move as it was well before the braking area/zone. Plus I think that you could have played more of a part in incident avoidence at the last chicane. However, crashing into someone on the last few metres of the race is 100% dick move.

Less likely in normal ACC. Far more likely in LFM, as they have active stewards that review these incidents. As long as you report it of course.

He had to swerve to avoid contact. In these games, you should never attempt to block in the braking zone. The reason is, it's almost impossible to swerve to avoid contact and brake at the same time. The first incident is on Rory. He closed a gap while a car was there already. The last three incidents are all on the other driver. And the last one was unforgivable, regardless of what happened before hand. You are not allowed to intentionally wreck an opposing driver under any circumstance.

You had ZERO chance of pulling off a move on the inside of that last corner! He had it covered. Making a move in an attempt to overtake on the inside there when he has the inside half of the track covered is poor race craft. I can personally see why he was upset. First you pushed him off the track when he clearly had the outside line. Then on the last turn of the race you move to make a unattainable dive bomb thru a very tight chicane and bump him off the track. The only way that inside move is fair play is if your front bumper is equal with his driver side door entering the braking zone meaning you have the inside line. You didn't.. he had the inside line and like I've seen in many of your videos, you made a bad unattainable move!! You view it as an accident but I can understand how he viewed it as intentional! Especially attempting that move when both cars clearly have significant damage! When it comes to GT3 racing the general rule is. If a driver can avoid contact and doesn't, meaning their driving causes avoidable contact, they receive a DT penalty! You should have and could have avoided contact in both of those situations! Yes the first one was a mistake not recognized where you were on the track. Bad race craft! The 2nd was purely a stupid unachievable move that shouldn't of been attempted. At that point, after damage, after causing avoidable contact, proper sportsmanship should have prevailed! You should have simply maintained your position and finished the race. Not attempt a ridiculous dive bomb!! The game doesn't recognize the avoidable contact rule cause the programming would be almost impossible. It would require fairly advanced AI system to recognize when contact can and can't be avoided! Overall he deserves a a stiff warning for retaliation and in all reality you deserve a stiff warning regarding your poor race craft and making avoidable contact twice against the same driver. You both reacted poorly. Remove your mistakes and poor race craft decisions and the other driver doesn't feel the need to retaliate!! No more playing victim. Take responsibility for your bad race craft and poor decisions! As they caused the other drivers retaliation! Sportsmanship must go both ways. When you act like a victim even tho your moves were in all reality, poor race craft, that should be taken into account by LFM! Both of you should receive a warning for your actions. Should both your actions continue, you both deserve a ban. That's how a good admin should view this situation! As everyone is human and will eventually snap when the same driver keeps doing dumb shit causing accidents!

Honestly you are talking BS! He already bumped somebody off the track at the beginning going extremly flat into a chicane, how on earth he expected to make that turn is anybodys guess. At the first incident with Rory he was far from CLEARLY having the outer line he barely stuffed his front end into the gap going hot into that corner. And after that he just lost it. Swirling while Rory was at the same height bumping into him, then making 2 defending moves before the last chicane. Talking about avoidable contact!

I get that Rory maybe should have left a cars width in the original incident but when he doesn't you can't just continue the move and initiate contact.

Rory 100% initiated contact in the first instance. The gap was there, the guy was side by side when Rory moved. On top of that Rory moved in the braking zone. Of course that doesn't excuse the retaliation.

I would give a warning, hard racing wasn't all him for me, you should be able to defend your position. However the reaction was very over the top. But is fairly typical on Gran Turismo from a hot head. Less typical on this as players tend to demand higher standards.. I wouldn't ban him, just a warning I think. Unless he made a habit of it.

Idk the first one still seems like his fault. Not maliciously his fault cuz it Looks like he outbraked himself and while maybe you could have left the space just to be safe, he was going super deep into that turn. Definitely seems like he should have had a small lift and actually broke slightly sooner to fall back in line cuz theres literally zero chance at an overtake in that situation. Especially trying to overtake on the outside.

Firstly in the interest of not being biased okay you do move slightly in the braking zone BUT at the point of braking he is not alongside you so technically your not at liberty to leave him space, as I say you do move under braking which is a no no, it wasnt an intentional block but a twitch onto the natural line, I do think he out brakes himself and he has assumed space is going to be given and doesn't anticipate you attempting the natural line. I personally think its a racing incident and maybe at worst a reminder not to move under braking. Everything after that is down right appalling. I hope you provide all the footage to get him lifetime banned.

He defended the inside then the outside then moved back to the inside, you can't do that in race, you can defend once, you can't move side to side it's illegal stupid and causes incidents as you have just seen, also pretty sure he moves under braking as well which all so in a big no no! You're accountable for your own actions, if you drive like an arsehole you generally see gravel.

1st incident he chose to go off the racing line which Rory had every right to take and keep...not Rory's fault at all...all of you need to learn the rules of racing...you do not have to give a car's width to anyone that has left the racing line under their own steam

You need to learn the rules of racing or get your eyes checked. In the first one Rory did not take the racing line (don't ask me why), he left a gap, gap was taken, then Rory moved in the braking zone and into the car beside him (2 mistakes). Of course the whole retailiation thing was stupid from the other player.

hate to break it to you but the 2nd punt was all on the other guy, also the rules state in section 3.2 (f of the Code of Conduct for LFM: "It is not allowed to react to the previous line change of the attacker who is directly in the slipstream ("blocking"). Multiple line changes to break the slipstream (“weaving”) and line changes in the braking zone (“moving under braking”) are forbidden."

@@Dustezz see that's how u know u have no clue if real racing. If he was in a real car he would not of made contact with the guy moving in front of him. Instead he would make sure he got a penalty for moving twice and would never ever make contact with another car.
