EFNOTE How To: ZONE EDIT / Layering

This quick video shows you how easy it is to edit any zone on your EFNOTE kit, as well as layering any instrument. This is a great tool for producer/drummers who want to add a sound to the top dynamic levels of a pad. Add claps, layer snares, beef up kicks etc... VERY fun feature, enjoy!

Recently bought the efnote 5x. I was wondering if there was a way to adjust the triggers on the crash or ride. The edge is not sensitive enough to create wash and sometime sounds the shaft or bell instead of edge sound. What can I do to adjust?

hi Jo, If you're getting Bell triggering when hitting the edge, it usually is caused from hitting the edge at too much of an angle, which sends a shock through the pad and make trigger other sensors. Much like acoustic technique, the shoulder of the stick shouldn't be angled more than 5 to 7 degrees. When it lands, it should almost be parallel with the cymbal. The factory settings should definitely play naturally, dynamics-wise. If this is not the case, please email me at mikeb@artesia-pro.com and I can help troubleshoot if anything is wrong with the cymbals themselves. You can adjust sensitivity of zones as well. Hi, i bought the Efnote 3 (first experience with electronic drums) and it sounds really good! Only one question: is possible to add more percussive sounds (like congas or timbales) in the module? thanks for the answer.

Hello Enopov, glad you're enjoying the kit! It does not have congas or timbales, it does have two cowbells, two wood blocks, claves, two tambourines, wind chimes up and wind chimes down. The module does not have sound loading.

I just purchased the Efnote 5, I used to record into my iPhone directly with my other Electronic drum kit but I can’t seem to know my way around recording audio and video with efnote5. Any suggestions please?

Anyone knows if the Electronic 80's style sounds shown at minute 1:13 are downloadable even on the EFNOTE5 model?

Thanks for your question. The electronic sounds are only offered on the 3 and 3X modules, as those kits are slightly more aimed at production. As of now, they aren't available on the 5 or 7 series.

Sorry for the delay on this response. The Layering function allows you to layer more that one sound on a triggered note, then allows you to sewt the "point" (Threshold) at which the layered sound activates, as demonstrated in this video. Great module but i think it will be better if the screen it was black and the letters green or white, it will be more easy for our eyes!!

@@ArtesiaProNorthAmerica Also is my personal opinion cause the Screen has so many informations in a small dimension and this Windows like desktop interface isn't help so much to see clear all these info thats the reason i said that.
