Every time I watch this gentleman, I always notice his weathered hands, nails, and face. They tell a story...of labor. How he has labored, worked with those hands, under the sun, for so many years. Whether to serve his family and now others, I just appreciate what he has MADE with those hands as opposed to those who never lift a finger in life or have things catered to them. He lives a life so much more pure and purposeful and even joyful than so many CEOs, "royals," or celebrities, even perhaps a pretentious neighbor. Nice to see this in the age of social media, narcissisim, and entitlement. So much taken for granted everyday. How every little things is the end of the world. These videos bring me back down to earth to realness and simplicity. Watching the act of taking raw ingredients and changing them by HAND to a meal that will nourish someone else, just fills me with peace. Thank you Grandpa Kitchen!

Those kids are just lovely.....even im an orphan, i lost both my parents and never got the chance to call them mom, dad.....but still thanks to Jesus that i have evrything i need. @@bethrow2002 I have love for all people, and I cannot judge a person solely for believing in a fantasy story, although it is something preferable to avoid. The main problem is the egocentric element: why was Jesus kind enough to help her, when millions and millions of children like her live short lives of immense suffering? He had the power, otherwise there would be nothing to thank him for. And it is immoral to thank him for helping you but not those other millions. And also note that I admire many of Jesus's core teachings. He was a wise man, and we can and should learn from him in the same way as other philosophers. That is one thing. But he was not divine. There is no objective evidence for that.

I am actually in tears right now...RARELY have I seen as much patience and generosity. I wish that I could bring you to the US and introduce you to the Communities of not only Poor and Homeless. Teach them to cook as I have seen here, in order to not give the fish, but to teach the fishing. A mass produced hearty meal could mean so much, and one cooked with patience and caring can mean so much more and be so much more. TY for sharing

Is it just me or what..... but, I love watching Grandpa cook and talk but then seeing him doing all of this makes me feel sad you know? He’s happy cooking for the poor kids, god bless him. But then he reminds me of my dad and Grandpa, I don’t know what it feels like loosing a family member because I’ve never lost one growing up. I just feel bad watching him carry, cut, wash and mix things.... I know it isn’t bad but my heart gets really soft. God bless you Grandpa, do your best but to help those children. I’ll be watching every video. 💗

i'm mexican and I grew up in los angeles and now I live in tucson arizona. I don't care what people says about unhealthy food or eating with your bare hands but I tried their food and it's delicious you old man god bless you for what you do. your food makes so hungry and I want to eat some indian food right now.

I feel so happy seeing this man feeding kids and poor people who are hungry. Bless him. I heard Eating rice with your fingers make it taste much nicer. But I love my spoon and not fork lol.

Imtiaz My dad would eat with fork and when he was about to finish his rice, sometimes he would use his fingers to finish his rice. One of my auntie use her fingers, when she eats rice. 😆 I tried it only with rice and fish, lol it taste the same to me using my spoon.
