In the fabled city of Alexandria, we venture through a market wonderland, smoke a shisha, and stroll a Mediterranean promenade. In Luxor, we explore the pharaohs’ tombs and temples before sailing on a timeless felucca. Then we kick back on a riverboat cruise, enjoying iconic views of palm trees, minarets, and rustic villages. While many countries in Africa have the Nile running through it, Egypt is where its most beautiful and the history can not be compared.

No trip is complete without watching Rick Steve's travel documentries. Each word that he says has a meaning & he doesn't say anything that doesn't have a meaning. It's like reading a textbook. Everytime you watch his travel documentry again, you find new things which you had missed grasping last time.

I've wanted to go to Egypt since I read Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile, many years ago. Due to Covid-19, and ongoing lockdowns, we are not allowed to make overseas trips at present, but one day I'll get there.
