I used to waste a lot of money at the arcade playing that back in the day. People always said it was wack but I loved it and the whole arena vibe.

The reason why I bought this game back then is for the FF7 characters also I find the 2 side characters who has their own adventure Koji and Claire to be really better than the main cast on the game. As for the gameplay, it's really complex from moving and grapples there's perfect timing and key just frames. It's a fun game that gives you everything. A fighting game, mini games, unlockable characters, multiple endings and a whole completely different game that is pretty much a dungeon quest.

Il die and fight on the Ehrgeiz hill any day. There is obvious jank because it's an early 3D game. But the game is awesome and a classic imo. I played it when it first came out. And like yeah, like you said. Virtua Fighter and o.g Tekken devs made it, just like Tobal no1. The pedigree is there, and I think the game was slightly ahead of it's time.

I never owned this game, but my friends and I did have it rented a lot. We were never the best at the game, but we had a lot of fun. This was around the time before Power Stone, and around the time of WuTang.
