I'm not gonna front...the Summit is bad ass! The little yellow kit packs a punch too!! Those pedals are really setting the character of the soundscape...I want to grab one or two myself. Nice Work!

Brilliant - Just returned from holiday to find 3 new EG tracks in my inbox! This is another great; I like the fact you have your own musical form rather than conforming to some genre that has been done to death. The cinematic nature of your tracks remind me of early Vangelis and Yellow, but with your own very distinctive touch of fairy dust, each telling a story...

Absolutely f*ing incredible! You really upped the WOW! factor with this tune. Bravo! I think it's my new favorite! Love the addition of the Summit with your kit and the effect it's had on your creativity! This tune should definitely be the A-side of an EP! Just sayin'...

I just LOVE your tracks, man! I listen to these while working and it's such a mood booster. It's inspired me to rethink how I use the Digitakt as well. I usually work within a single pattern for each jam and completely ignored the fact that it can be used to create structured tracks like this. Thanks for posting! Hope to hear more from you soon!

You really manage to do so much with the minimum gear, it's most humbling! Loving this track, some nice transitions and progressions in there. A perfect Friday boost!
@EhsanGelsi5 жыл бұрын
Thanks heaps :) Hey, I'm also very good at struggling to make any music at all with plenty of gear, so it swings both ways! Glad you enjoyed the tunes!
@TheSynthnut5 жыл бұрын
@@EhsanGelsi I think that's entirely logical, certainly my limited creativity is inversely proportional to the quantity of gear I have in the studio at any one time! The old adage of "less is more" rings true. I think it's also better to know a few instruments inside out than a lot just minimally. Avoiding the DAW seems to really work well in some cases, I guess it all comes down to how workflow suits your brain. Mine is suited to noodles I realise...

I love how he is simply owning the effects pedal. Very nice addition to the music bench. I have a few ideas for myself. Once I’m ready I could set my harmony kingdom dragons in random spots. Or Rowlf the piano player from the Muppets. I wish I had Dr. Teeth. He fits in better for electric keys.

Ok, Ehsan, you're freaking me out. So many great videos in so short a time! Is the Summit inspiring you to crank these out? :)
@EhsanGelsi5 жыл бұрын
You're very kind mate! I had yesterday off, so threw together a few more noodles and made this horribly filmed, low light video! All in a lazy afternoon's work I spose, but truly shockingly shot I must say!

Awesome as usual :) Are you sending two midi tracks to the summit at the same time?
@EhsanGelsi5 жыл бұрын
Thx! Yes indeed that's exactly what I'm doing - but I'm such a lousy cameraman that I chopped off the bottom of the Digitakt so you can't see them blipping away. Check my most recent vid before this and you'll see what I mean :)

Great, as always. One question, if you don't mind. How many MIDI tracks can be run by Digitakt from same instrument? Thanks for sharing.
@EhsanGelsi5 жыл бұрын
Thx! Digitakt's got 8 MIDI tracks, and each of those can play whichever channel you choose, or even many channels on a single track if you parameter lock the MIDI channel!

Is there any difference between Peak and Summit besides the keyboard and mod wheels? I’ll have to listen later you’re competing with the new Tool album 😂
@EhsanGelsi5 жыл бұрын
@@JamesReedy It's like 2 Peaks plus the keyboard! Then it also has several extra controls broken out to the front panel that are in the menu on Peak - like the FM controls :)
