My ex husband of 30 years stop respecting me a long time ago, so all of the children didn’t respect me either. They saw the head of the house and how their father treated me. I didn’t respect myself either and broken for so long. When I finally said enough and he filed fir divorce cause he had the pre paid legal service did I then regain my identity and I’m soo excited about my reintroduction to me. I’m in therapy, I’m hiking, I’m dancing and singing and working with such joy and contentment! More to come friends.

I am feeling this message. I’ve been married the last 4 yrs and for 2 of them my husband was unfaithful. We have been separated for 8 months and I told him that he had benefits that he didn’t realize he had. He still doesn’t but that’s ok. Ive also given way more than people deserved and I have sacrificed the things I wanted for so long. So now I’ve made the decision to do what I want. I’m moving out of state, I’m cutting people off from my support and kindness because they don’t appreciate it. I can’t change their behavior but I can change mine.

Daddy used to say “ The flowers you give Daddy with the love you show me Now is worth more than any flower that will be laid on my grave…thank you Babydoll. “ I miss my father. He was who I went to when I was taking for granted and hurt. Thank you Pastor Blakes. God blessed me to meet you eight months after losing my dad. You spoke on that platform and I cried the entire time all the way to your table at meet and greet. Mrs. Lisa and you have helped me through this journey. That was 2017. I’m still standing. This sounds like my grandad. He was so quiet at home ( my grandma was very strict and told him what to do). At his funeral over 200 people showed up that new him at the bowls club and they described a very different person to the person I saw. They described a very social fun outgoing man! It was so sad that I never really new him.

I needed this message, because I've done too much for family and friends for too long. People have taken me for granted, cause they had access to my resources even though they did not deserve it. Some people have shown me consistently that they were not trusworthy and honest, but I kept giving and giving my time and money, just because they are family. I've learned my lesson!

That happened to me in caregiving for my mom for years. Being single, no children. My siblings did barely anything to help me, but ran with accusations. No appreciation for taking care of my mom nor the sacrifices I made.

I feel like this at every job I work. I always go above and beyond with little to no training, support or resources. And you’re right. I’m very agreeable, want to please & do a great job. When I get depleted and burnt out & start saying no or being as available, that’s when everyone wants to notice and kiss up.

This is segment reminds me of mom. She goes above and beyond for her family but some of them have never told her thank you for helping or that they appreciate what she does. I remember having a conversation with her about how she helped one of her older brother's daughter and her husband. Mind you her sister in law is a very selfish woman. She has never worked a day in her life and does not know how to drive. When it came time that she needed help from her brother my mother's sister in law was running her mouth telling my uncle not to help my mom. After that my mom does not have anything to do with her and this was six years ago. Yes! You are right bishop blakes. Some people take other people for granted and we shouldn't allow them to do so. Don't allow easy access of your spirit or make yourself always available to people who does not reciprocate those same values to you.

The Most High continue to bless you and your entire family! I'm a Social Worker and I often ask the women and young addicted mothers that I work with, "Where do pimps come from?" No one yet has had the correct answer - they/pimps come from their mothers who teach them to depend on women! So, I encourage them to do their best to teach them to be "responsible men, husbands" a man that a woman would want and to enlist worthy men to assist them- cause a woman can't teach a man to be a man she can't be mother and father she can only be the best woman and mother that she can be to her child/children. I am always so grateful to come across these videos... What a blessing, glory be to God. I am always the person that is overlooked and taken for granted... I am learning in the last year to let go of people that doesn't serve God because they will mean me no good. My prayer for someone who struggles with this is to simply as yourself " what are you loosing in letting go of people that doesn't give you the same love and respect. I promise if you let go you will have peace and you may feel lonely but the truth is we are never alone God's love is always there and what helps us to move on and find true happiness, if no one told you today I love you and better is coming. Some people take other people for granted because they never cared about them and they were just looking for someone to take care of them That’s how someone can stay with someone for 40 years and never recognize because they was in it only for their self I mean tell the truth and shame the devil ! Iv been a nice person my whole life, and what iv realized is when I do say NO or Don’t go along with certain things I get treated bad, I get bad mouthed becuz I did say No, and then I’m made to feel bad for it, and it’s been by my family, yes my own family has betrayed me in so many ways, yet they all think their better than me, the only thing they have is money, but they wouldn’t b where they are if it wasn’t for the help they got even if was from yrs ago, funny how they forget where they started, and everyone path in life is different so no one shld judge another’s path, especially when they doing the best they can all by themselves

As I am currently experiencing all that this video mentions within the past 72hrs from someone I opened my home to and helped put on their feet. (My nephew's half sister) This is the umpteenth time that my good has been repaid with evil by those who are supposed to love me and are closest to me! 😢😓 Explained me to the "T"! I have always been my family's, friends and as well as anyone who comes in my life (most of the time by the way of others) go to person. Never having my efforts reciprocated. Funny thing is I think I had allowed dishonor and disrespect from others for so long because I never really had someone like ME in my life. As well as my nature just being genuinely good. I've been hurt so many times by those closest to me all the way down to my children. But Now I have reached that place of "No More"!!🙌🏾 If it's not reciprocated ie... Love, respect, help, honor, etc or if I have to state my boundaries more than twice, whomever it is has to go!!💯 I love you but I'll love you from a distance! It's It's true pastor. We need to honor eachother. What makes me so sad is to see my colleuges in my work place being taken fot granted by management so I'm trying to acknowledge all who aren't acknowledged. It's our calling as Christians to show value . And I'm also realising that I am not always valued...but I'm keeping the people close in my life who do value me

Wow this Video is a year old and right now it's telling the story of my life my daughter life Wow I pray that God will give her the wisdom that she needs to stop letting my grandchildren take her her granted she is a mother of 5 her oldest is 26 she is still trying to take care of them because she doesn't no have to say no I believe one day God is going to give her what she needs to let go in let God let God AMEN 🙏🏾

Thank you pastor for this teaching and the beautiful prayer for healing at the end. This is one to take notes and go back over. So much to think about and process. Thank you Lord for healing from being taken for granted, forgiveness for taking others for granted and keeping in mind that it is really about treating others as we would want to be treated... most of us I believe would want to be appreciated. This is so thought-provoking and important of a topic and so needed in the body of Yeshua. Thank you for all you do and all the wonderful videos that you put out each week for God's people.
