This concept is simple, and yet, many people don't take a listen to pro-active information. Sadly, many people become interested in their health AFTER they become sick when their action is then re-active.

Autophagy will not happen if you have thousand and thousand of stored calories. 1 kg of fat is 7700 calories. An average male has 12.6 kg of fat reserves. That equals to approx 117,000 stored calories for the cells. Cells won't eat fellow cells if there's abundant reserves in the body. That's a 70 day supply of fuel for the cells.

Not true according to researchers in this field, the body first starts to recycle damaged cells and those deficient in nutrients and only then turns to ketones

The healing processes of fasting tend to get fully started between 16-24 h into the fast. If you do somesort of glycogen-depletion workout, you can shorten the "initiation time" to maybe less than 12 h, but that depends on many factors. Having strictly ketogenic meals the day(s) before the fast also helps to quicken it.

If autophagy happens after 16 -20 hours of fasting, no food, when do you actually eat again and will the autophagy then stop? How long do we need for autophagy to be active or happening? In other words, we want autophagy to take place and we need to know how long it should take place for good things to happen in the body. I' guessing we need to fast for at least 48 hours for autophagy to do it's thing on our bodies......

If you want drastic results as quickly as possible then longer fasts are probably the way to go. Some people however might find it easier to do shorter fasts (16-20 hours) but do it every day and get more cumulative results, but on a slower timescale with less dramatic changes.
@waamp6984
@waamp6984 4 жыл бұрын
My thoughts are that this isn't a one time event. You need to have a regular fasting schedule. This would have to be defined by you, but you should probably daily 12-16 hour fasts eating in a narrow window. Additionally you should have extended fasts from 1 day, 2 day, up to whatever range would give you the best results for the goals you have outlined during that given fasting window.

I found autophagy in the bible Matthew 9:17: 14 Then John’s disciples came and asked him, “How is it that we and the Pharisees fast but your disciples do not fast?” 15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is still with them. The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast. 16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. 17 Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

The way I understand it is that when you fast you can receive a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit and the new wineskins is the new cells that have been created through autophagy. Something like that anyway.

what I get is the body needs to be cleansed totally by fasting. and then the brand new healthy cells will grow. half cleansed body can't stand the new healhty cells. both will harm each other's process. so definitely the body must be totally cleansed first. And now I believe this is the same method of doctor Sebi's. btw thank you for giving the scriptures. I learned a lot this time. :)
