Guarantee that she is more skilled/talented than 98% of the contestants on any of the talent shows. The fact she didn't hold for everyone else to catch up on what she was doing was amazing. Shows that she is a strong and confident performer.

Can't believe I'm saying this but this actually brought me to tears... the beauty of these sounds... just beyond incredible. The hardships of our ancestors lost to time, 'visualized' in music. Sound that can bring forth such emotions is testament to it's power.

I don't understand why the jury has to behave like this. somehow they came across as very negative. i think it is a great gift to sing such tones in this way... haven't seen anything like this for a very long time. 🎩

As an Eivor fan... Listen to Tròdlabùndin (Trøllabundin) by Eivør Pálsdóttir. That’s what she’s singing throughout the first half. I can’t believe Eivor is not credited :( If you even like this a little bit, you will love the original artist.

A musician called Jordi Savall does incredible arrangements of historical music with very talented musicians. Some of the pieces are from times before christ. I think you might like his album Jérusalem. Besides the album version there is also a live version of the concert availible on YT. I would suggest reading about it first though. There is a great discription on Amazon with some reviews that give general information about it if you want to get a quick overview before listening.
