Few small suggestions Varun bro....u may consider it.. 1. Swalpa Bgm volume Kammi maadi 2.I know you are making this video for Global audience but Try giving measurements in Kms rather than Miles and Currency in Rupees rathet than in Dollars....becoz we are not used to those and we can't even relate it 3. Don't think about the duration of Video... There are hardcore fans of u who watch the informative Business case studies.... ❤

Bro jo bhi term $ me hai bas uske aage 2 zeroes lagate jao Rs me convert krne ke liye it's that simple (note Considering $=100rs which is soon going to be) And 2km is 1 mile(approx) it is also very simple And 10M cars agr hai example me to bas ek decimal shift kr do i.e. 1 and Cr lagado i.e. 1Cr. Similarly 100M =10Cr (here M=Million,Cr=Crore)

@@ShreyashPatil1811 correction. 1 mile = 1.6 km and 1$ = Rs.83 and no it won't reach Rs.100 anytime soon. And we don't need to use US measurement systems. India has it's own measurement system and in that we use Kms instead of miles and rupees instead of dollars.

19:32 technical correction: It's possible for EVs to have a proper water proofing so they can run even when they're half submerged. This is not possible with ICE vehicles as they have air intake and exhaust valves

Exactly. EVs don't require a supply of oxygen to operate like ICE vehicles which, especially in offroad vehicles, can lead to quite high water wading capacities.

There are ways to solve that problem in ICE though. Most good offroaders have inlet pipe extended till the roof. And exhausts are air tight so only one way movement of gases is allowed and this can be seen in two wheelers also which wade in water levels above the exhaust outlet.

@@shannum23 lol but the roof mounted inlet is not available on Wagon R for regular city use so it's moot. No, exhausts are NOT air tight, if they were no gases could escape lol, they have positive pressure coming from the engine (piston movement pushes the gases out) so they are able to work for a small time when submerged.

You forgot to mention about charging infrastructure currently in India. Your research looks like it till 2020. See Tata EZ Charge they have 5500+ online charging stations. See Tata Nexon EV Max creating new records of travelling 4005 km in 95 hours from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. You're correct with apps, Nexon and other cars already have it.

There are a lot of EVs even in a town like mine, it has a great future. I'll have to wait for at least 6 years to buy a good one at a low price if Tesla doesn't come soon. One more issue is the internet connectivity for the car, the cost.

Impressive. I disagree on one point of the android model. The ODM's that work on the Android based model, like the ones' mentioned, have been importing (i.e white labeling) without a deeper idea/ control over the parts that are not made in house. Unlike software, hardware will take longer tenure to establish that trust and relationship on the imported parts since any issue currently is only leading replacement of that particular part. Besides majority of the mishaps that have occurred are under the ODM models. Vertical integration in hardware is a sustainable model to have complete technical control on your models. But indeed great insights 1. TCO of EV or ICE 2. Software integration: SOH: could also help in the insurance and close control monitoring 3. Analogy if EVs built like phones or consumer electronics rather than steam engines

VarunThanks for the video, the video I knew I needed but didn't know where to get. But some thoughts, while I agree there is a market for EV Charging Station Aggregators, when a properly huge station starts to dominate like If HP or anything starts to dominate, unless the company XYZ which used to be an aggregator Turned supplier, it needs constant innovation IG as they are wading in troubled waters.

All EVs in india use CCS2/Type2 for DC/AC charging. Its the same port just CCS2 fast charger has more leads in it to deliver higher power than type2 EBus uses GB/T port but since govt chargers can't be used by civilians it does not matter. Bikes and scooters mostly have their own ports but ultimately use 15A socket only, so charging is very easy.
