I couldn't do without my Knipex 13 96 200 SB electrician pliers. It's an enormous time saver and my most used tool next to only six screwdrivers : 2 flats, two philips, a Facom Borneo slim which is absolutely perfect for switchboards, and a big flat one that mostly serves as a chisel.

Same as the other comments - love the honesty and how you bring a normal perspective. Have you ever tried using a tool tote instead of one of those bags? Just from personal experience I find you can get more stuff in, they’re easier to organise (without stuff on top of itself like in the bag), and you can secure them down to mounts etc when in the van so they won’t rattle around or tip over. Not saying that’s the right or wrong way to do it - but worth trying a tote if you haven’t yet. They can be quite cheap vs those bags too, even the likes of the Milwaukee Packout totes I’d wager are cheaper than those bags. Cheers as always mate 👍

Good video Jack. It's nice to see a reasonably priced set of hand tools that will allow the person to do the job. I also prefer the GT85 over the standard WD40. You will be at 10K KZfaq subs before you know it.

Man after my own heart, I have said for years you don’t need to buy tools with fancy brand names and silly colours. The same for power tools. With the exception of five knipex tools my hilka screwdrivers that I won all my tools are over thirty years old , my combi drill is home base own brand about ten years old I also have two SDS rotary hammer drills the 20v is a Chinese brand and the 240v is an unknown German brand but I believe it is owned by bosh both are 4 years old. Do I have any problems doing my job absolutely not.thank you for a good honest video. Oh yeah I was told by my late brother look after your tools and your tools will look after you and last for years.👍

@@JRCElectrical my combi drill is 18v thirty years old and still going strong. It also blue so easily mistaken for a Mikita, also we have to remember that they all come out of the same factory in china just badged up for different brands.

I really must try on of those armour slice thingys one day, always just used a hacksaw for armoured cables. Tend to use adjustable spanners for the glands rather than grips, so they don't mar the surfaces. Great video Jack!

Great vid. Love the honesty of the crap hammer 🔨 👌 My recommendation is the cheap junior hack saw from toolstation, I feel its as good as bacho. Nice selection of tools think the most expensive ones I have are the Wera screwdrivers, I got given them a while back most of my tools are company bought tools. We have the odd Facom and that’s it, most are just the normal run of the mill tools. Asked for a new toolbox think I’m getting a B&Q tool box, little better thanks gorilla bucket lol. Cheers

On a job yesterday and the supply to their garage was a swa cable that consisted of a 6mm brown 6 x1mm blue with 6mm earth. So neutral is connected via 6, 1mm cables. I have never seen this cable before. Anyone here know if this is safe. The load should be shared but it's bizzare. I don't want to have to change the cable it's it's safe and sits correct with the regs but I can't find where it's stated otherwise. Cheers to anyone that replies
