Dual-Gear Direct Extruder
The dual-gear direct drive extruder with gears made of SUS303 stainless steel features adjustable extrusion force and a 3:1 reduction ratio, which ensures smoother filament feeding and stable & accurate printing, greatly reducing nozzle clogging and gear jumping problems. Auto Bed Leveling + Auxiliary Leveling
The non-contact high precision sensor automatically scans 63 points of the hotbed to compensate for any unevenness and inconsistencies of the printing platform. You can also use the hand-twist knobs under the build platform for auxiliary leveling to achieve a nice first layer.
Stable & Quiet Printing
The Z-axis is designed with dual lead screws and dual-motor drive for more stable and precise movement of the print head, and the double tie rod structure enhances the stability of the Z-axis gantry.
With an STM 32-bit silent motherboard, the X/Y/Z/E axes are all driven by high-precision stepper motors to effectively reduce the printing noise under 50 dB.
PEI Magnetic Platform
PEI magnetic platform with a special coating and spring steel sheet for strong adhesion and anti-warping, so you can easily remove or eject the print models by slightly bending the print steel sheet. The 420W high-power hotbed can quickly heat up to 100°C.
Removable Capacitive Touchscreen

Is there a downside to the Max vs the Plus when I’d mostly print smallish things? My primary use would be for cockpit panels I.e. GPS, radios, avionics. Some are not large. Would I be making a mistake on the Max for this or is it better to have a printer that more closely matches the size of projects? Thanks for the overall measurements. I need this to prepare an enclosure. Thanks!

If you are modeling those parts yourself then you can simply split them into multiple pieces and fuse them later. I think it's fine for prototyping purposes. The main issue with these printers is their speed. A single biggish part could tie it up for days. You should be budgeting for at least two printers. I'd start with two Pluses now and then if there's a need would pick up the Max when it eventually goes on sale.

Beautifully edited and a lot more enjoyable to watch than one-hour-long rambles! Having said that I think it could work if you had both formats per printer. A distilled 10-15 minute version for someone weighing their options and an hour long unboxing/setup/deep dive type of thing for someone needing help after the purchase. Would also like to see some before/after tuning examples of prints. That Benchy was unacceptable by today's standards, but you could turn this into a story of your journey to get a perfect Benchy out of this machine. This kind of approach draws the viewer in because there's a mystery and a character arc.

So out of curiosity when printing a big vase like done here if you want to actually use it how thick should the wall be? Vlad has done this in one layer thick but I'm thinking for actual use (holding water) it should be thicker, correct?

Interesting, I wish you had shown how it levels, how loud it is when printing and how changing the nozzle out to a larger one would work out (could the heater keep up)?

Ok i have one for a week now, and man your ghosting and print quality is really bad. even my 80A tpu prints better than your pla. you need to adjust your slider wheels or print settings, this is not normal. but great visuals in this review, your Neptune plus review actually made me buy the max

The biggest problem, POM wheels I wish it was better, is the high corrosion rate wheels. Use for a full month, the result is disastrous

I don't really understand this printer, they only give it to youtubers? an ordinary person goes to the eleego store and is always out of stock. They are crap, that's why I stay with creality and prusa big companies😏😏

dont know what you talk about, i have this printer and its perfect, plus it has many features and costs below 500. what exactly do you think is not good quality?

@@lefotografion Speed, print quality for example. The whole printer is using wheels instead of linear rails. It is big and it is cheap, but it is indeed bad quality. Just look how terrible the prints looked.

@@axell964 yea as I said in another comment, he definitely has some issues to resolve. His prints looks terrible, even worse then my worst 80A TPU prints. I have the same printer, and the walls are looking absolutely perfect, basically no ghosting, and at 0.07mm layer hight, you wouldn't think it's printed at all. He has to adjust his printer ASAP, and he shouldn't have poster this video without adjusting everything correctly. Btw, i do t talk about advanced adjustments, just follow the damn user manual
