I don't know man. It would be a shitty ultra, because you would have to be much more defensive and you could not be hit by any way. It would be a shitty ultra. When she heals 100% you still have the recovery of the healing

@@pianomaker7610 You could increase the amount she heals to balance it out, either way, it would be better than what she has now and the fairest way of solving the issue

The heal should be a super instead of an Ultra. Now you're choosing between having all your tools or spending 4 bars on a heal. Immediately fixes the problem.

Its not weird at all. A lot of people still play this game regularly and there is a very active community. I think people enjoy the videos becuase you can't see stuff like this in sfv

I got rusty at this game and need to re-learn it. Sf4 is kinda it's own game, same for sf5.

I will share some of the reasons she is broken. Healing, unreactable overhead that can combo, stupid good buttons, weird hitbox. The healing alone makes her top 5

@@Frostbite12211983 Broken can mean quite a bit, especially when development fails characters like her, DJ and early edition Yun and Seth. It can mean janky design or something deliberately OP, a tool too fast to react to or a tool to slow to be viable. The examples define that brokenness better than simply having an offhand definition, especially since it's better when explaining to just tell someone why something is bad rather than try to define the inherently loaded term for a point of easy reference, especially in games where it overlaps between jank and true strengths

@@Frostbite12211983 Sometimes they are. But not with things like Vortex City, pre patch bugs, damage and OP characters like Yun, Seth, Akuma and Cammy, a lot of stuff. And since it's mostly used for titles to make em snappy, people try to just give the examples of what it is they mean when they say, "broken" or OP

@General Tozen BD serves as a good juggle Ultra while having good fireball invincibility from midrange. SB could cover that last part better, a good punish and antifireball Ultra.

Alternatively they could cut the healing down in half, and force you to get full animation without the ability to cancel. So the benefit is very small and you're committed every use. People would get much less oppertunity to safely do it or lose more health than they gain, so they would use it 2-3x much less often. And with how low the actual health gain would be unless they had full ultra, it would barely make a difference. And with it scaled down to half, even with full ultra, it still would barely make a difference. But swapping ultra with super doesn't sound like a bad idea. People be like "but why would you pick it over the other ultra? So what if you don't. Almost half the cast at least has 1 ultra you use 100% of the time over the other. (Balrog/Honda immediately come to mind.)

They were back in AE. When ultra came out, yun was nearly top tier. Yang was mid tier at best.
