After not having much luck in Colorado doing Black Bear Pass, we decided it was time to head West to git rid of the rain and cold. Our fist stop was to be Elephant Hill to the Confluence in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. Elephant Hill is a pretty fun off road trail that climbs right up and over the cliff right at the road and continues for miles. There are a couple options including going over to the Joint Trail, about a mile hike into a really neat maze of cracks in the rocks that you can hike, or shimmy through. Another destination from Elephant Hill is to go over and see the Confluence where the Colorado and the Green river meet. Now that was a really awesome sight! Turns out the Green river is really green and the Colorado is really reddish brown making it quite the sight to behold where they come together!

Boy, you guys are covering lots of ground. You have now picked some of the best 4x4 trails that i love. Just stay away from the West where the fires are, Guess it's hard to get burned by the fires, In Moab the sun usually gets me. Enjoy and thanks for the adventures, Hey when do you work?

I live in Utah and I have watched a LOT of videos made in Canyonlands NP, but this one is by far the best one I have ever watched. I enjoyed the views and the commentary sooo much that I am going to go into the living room and get my wife to watch it with me on the big screen. The road to the confluence is one that for years I have seen on my map program and thought I would like to ride out there in my 2003 stock Jeep. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING! I had no idea how rough it was. Thanks for a really GREAT video. I love your channel.I have never been cluster phobic but that crack freaked me out a little just watching you squeeze through it. Keep the great videos coming.

Been there done that in 2003. Part of Elephant Hill and S.O.B. Hill are wicked! I didn't drive; I was with a tour that did the driving. I don't remember some of the Joint Trail; I think you guys went through part of it that we didn't go through. Once you get to Chesler Park it is an incredible view. We didn't do the Confluence Overlook but I've always wanted to go there to see it. I'd go back to that area in a second; Canyonlands is my favorite place in the world!

Fun fun fun ! I'll be out there early October for a much needed Needles trip in my JKU. Many previous trips through. This time I have the DK camp reserved for two nights to soak up the scenery. Most def need some Joint and Chestler Park time too. Then through travel out the south boundary and Beef Basin to the Bears Ears "the back way"......Then, into the Maze, 2 nights at The Doll House, then Flint out to Robbers Roost, and then......decide where the next couple weeks will take us. Trail conditions look about normal. And you were right when you noticed that SOB Hill can also be a nose in and back down. I came through a couple years ago in a Ram 2500 with a camper on it, and that's how I had to thread that needle. Keep er' shiny side up ! peace..........

Perhaps they are older than we think According to Scientific American, the first horses originated in North America and then spread to Asia and Europe. The horses left in North America became extinct about 10,000 years ago and were re-introduced by colonizing Europeans in the mid 1500's

The best time to spray that with WD is after it is washed while it is wet. The WD stands for water displacing. ^^ 6:53 This is what spotters are good for! FWIW, I have more respect for drivers doing that in slightly modified rigs. Well done.

Car show trick... super clean the engine compartment and spray WD40 over the complete compartment including rubber hoses; electrical wiring; metal parts! Puts a mini shine on everything and protects against water; dust and rust. I sprayed and soaked WD40 on my RZR first day I purchased it new 3 years ago still no rust.
