Our last day in Mana Pools National Park filled with unexpected wild dog sightings, photographing elephants in the rain, a pretty major gear mishap and of course some of Adam’s music musings.
After the most amazing wild dog sighting the previous day (tracking them on foot with Painted Dog Conservation. You can watch that video here: • Tracking wild dogs wit... ) we manage to find the same pack again and get to watch them playing for ages.
Adam’s camera accidentally falls on the ground (a tripod mishap). Luckily he only breaks his 2x converter and not his Canon 5D Mark IV or his very crucial 400mm prime lens.
As another storm moves in, we set off to photograph elephants in the rain. Perhaps not the best conditions to get out the car with expensive camera equipment but the photos come out quite magical. Elephants in the soft rain with the Mana Pools woodland forest as the backdrop.
