Travis Mash And three days later I can feed back that my wrist pain has vanished with these stretches and strengthening exercises ! This is now part of my prehab !

Finally a video addressing what i think my issue is. My wrist pain is only when i catch the snatch, its fine with closer grip movements. MY QUESTION is what should i do to rehab the wrist now its already injured and how long does this sort of injury last for? I had about 3 months of weekly needling and massage release in my forearm and a few weeks of looking at my shoulder the entire time not snatching. Recently gone back to snatching and pain is still there.

Clear your shoulders (get full ROM and strength), then start in pain free wrist movement, move progressively into more range without causing pain. See how that goes and let me know!

I am in the same boat. Front rack position is good, snatches wreck me. Did you ever find a resolution for this?

Thanks. I will try this warm-up because my right wrist is really painful whereas my left wrist is pain free and very flexible (I am right-handed, I think that's the reason).

I get pain on the ulnar side of my wrist now and then and actually just today after a shoulder workout. on the pinky side and recently came off an injury from having a ganglion cyst im always loooking for tips to improve form so that i don't develop anymore pain and so that I don't need to constantly use wrist wraps. Any tips would be highly appreciated! Should I work on strengthening my wrists maybe?

I developed a ganglion cyst in my training/preparation face. Probably due to tight wrists. Competition is in three weeks and national records are on the line. Any tips for recovery?

i literally just got off of one of those injuries a few months ago. i know this is a very late response but i ended up seeing a hand surgeon and just had them instantly drain it for me. hope everything worked out for you!
