As a former elimination player it's probably the best and worst mode in the entire game

its most likely a mix of both, where your lower mmr is pushing you into lobbies like this, but at the same time a lot of people that play for honor on the daily, dont play anything thats not "very high" or "high" player count. also the word "deathmatch" is known in every game as the casual game mode, call of duty, halo, destiny. deathmatch is just where the casuals go for fun

I'll tell you an anomaly. I went into a ranked game just for the participation, and I found a guy bowing to me, saying good fight before each round even started and he even sent me friend request after the fact. I'm used to toxicity on the daily, so that shocked me.

when you search for lobby. Only wait for 50 second and restart. Otherwise you ,ll get just everybody that plays the game and they not gonna be your level or atleast near your level. . But the search gonna take its time anyways.

I played a ranked match earlier to contribute towards the faction event, went my tried and true Valk and ended up against a kensei. I thought it was a fairly close matchup between us, we had a round each and then suddenly they rage quit. No idea why, and I was super confused.

Proper LB rework 1.) Give him back his old combos but keep the infinite UB chain & the little boop on landed heavies. 2.) Change impale to x/square on perry (just like WM). 3.) Give him a double starter light. 4.) Needs a new zone attack, possibly make it feintable? 5.) Keep the hyperarmour chain heavies, maybe add hyperarmour on startup heavies. 6.) Give him better delays!!! 7.) Improve his side bash! (If you dodge bash early you'll eat the attack, you must last frame dodge for it to work) 8.) This one I'm adding for shits an giggles | Give him a variable time bash by keeping his current and adding his old one back. This will greatly improve his mixups & make him A tier all around. ----- As a former LB main it was very sad to see him go to low B tier to D tier in all game modes

I think i might actually start playing elim again, because i usually get the same people alot in dom, some i swear are scripters,one i know that everyone knows that is a lag switcher and i get a few that start losing the match and use glitches to get outside the map to keep the timer going.

I think for honor does use game mode specific mmr, I've definitely noticed when I favor a paticular game mode then jump on another after not playing it a while, that I end fighting stupid easy enemies

I like elim because the only objective to really work towards is to kill the other team, and because it’s the only objective that’s probably why the toxicity is there

i wanna play more elim cos it does look fun but my dominion match quality is bad enough already in terms of the skill level of my team vs the enemy team, i end up with rep 40-50s against rep 200-400s.

sadly playing elim is just not the actual 4v4 game mode like brawl or 1v1, i'd like to see something like those modes without the ganking and so on, cause it'd show your skill, not saying that ganking the right way doesn't require skill, but still, you get my point

Its just because of the low player count. that's literally the only reason this happens. If more youtubers played it more and promoted it things could change maybe but as it stands negativity breeds negativity and so the mode will likely stay this way.

Because people are either new or toxic, and that is why nova king just goes all in. Makes for fun fights to watch though, glad I get to see you in them
